Reaching the airport with my family I felt
I was the center of attention while just she stood there
I walked up to her and knelt
Her hands quickly reciprocated, showed her happiness and care
Going through the crook of my neck, around my choker belt
That ecstasy, I could not compare

Her megawatt smile flashed instantly while
Her hazel brown hair played with the wind
I wondered about the time when we would again reconcile
Involuntarily I grinned
Why be sad? When this imbecile
Is a part of my life and we are always twinned

The dare devils, Partners in crime
Even if distance separated us, we are inseparable by soul
This is my only wish for lifetime
She said," Don't forget, taking my things means you stole,
So better come back on time
Or my anger will take its toll"

Airport heard the family laugh
Now I knew I will miss her the second I leave
That's when I clicked her one photograph
Seeing this her instinct led her to believe
I got another big weapon against her, another bad photograph
She acted in a manner of rolling up her sleeve

I never knew I would miss this idiot so bad
We hate each other but love each other too
We hurt each other but can get hurt for the other too
We want to kill each other but cannot live without the other too

The sands of time flew by
I was gestured to get going
I saw a pearl of tear forming in her eye
My throat started drying
I guess it was just as difficult for her to say goodbye
I gave her a final hug and started walking

Yes we have a common descent, she is my younger sister
I can give her my kidney but not a glass of water
I don't know what this is called, I guess sister's pride?
And these are the small memories I would forever cherish about her
