PART 19 ( Her Favorite )

A week before our wedding was to take place, we were still going to the office as usual and I would invite Jennie to go and come home on my dad’s instructions to start getting used with a new norm that I would feel soon when I become as her “wife” and a heavy responsibility that will be borne.

Ever since the day of that sudden marriage discussion, Jennie has always been emotionally moody when with me, she strongly disagreed with the family’s decision. I could do nothing but strengthen my mental and physical to face all the challenges ahead.

Once in my office room, my secretary bowed down her head then followed me from behind until I reached the seat to told about my work routine for the day as usual.

“Thank you, Dahyun. Please prepare my important document file for our meeting soon and you may go now”, I opened my laptop and start working as usually.

At 09:00 in the morning I had a business meeting with a giant company owned by my future father -in -law, Kims. Kims Company owns nearly 30% of the company’s joint stock and is very active in planning new projects in developing the country’s of business industry.

After nearly two hours of discussion, the meeting has finally ended.

“Congratulations to my daughter -in -law. You have never disappointed me with your perfect presentation on our upcoming projects. I'm very impressed with your work and team”, said Mr. Kim while a happy tone.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Kim”,

“Your welcome. Well, can we talk for a minute”

“Sure, Mr. Kim. Let's go to my office room”

Once in my room, I invited Mr. Kim over a warm cup of coffee with my favorite sandwich before starting the conversation.

“So Lisa, don't forget about your and Jennie's wedding, tomorrow you two need to go to the bridal boutique to see your clothes together”

“Don't worry Uncle, I'll make sure we both go there together for the final measurement of our clothes”

“Good. And just call me Daddy because soon you will be my daughter -in -law either”

“Alright, Mr- Daddy”, I smiled.

“I'll go first, thank you for the meeting today and see you around”

I reached out my hand with Mr. Kim and bowed respectfully to him before he came out and opened my suit off before sitting back in my favorite swivel chair.

I sighed out deeply then closed my eyes for awhile.

“Poopooooo!”

A woman's screams were so loud that they were no strangers to me. It is definitely my only beloved sister who dared to raise her voice to me in this office.

“Yow wassup wassup man!”, added Jisoo to me while grinned widely.

“Yes my baby. Come here I need your hug now”, I opened my arms wide to hug Cheayoung who just had a smile sweetly then coming towards me.

“How's your day going?”

“So good since I got your warm hugs”, I replied while deepen the hugged.

“Yah, she is mine now, Lisa-yah”, added Jisoo while glared at me.

“Do I care?”

“Yah! Babe....”, Jisoo pouted.

“It's just my sister, Chu...”

“I don't care.”

“Stop pouting you little chicken. I'll buy you two for lunch together later okay”

“Yesssss! Nice bro”, replied Jisoo.

“Are you sure about your wedding with Jennie Unnie that will take place next week?”, asked my sister all of sudden while looked at me softly.

“I'm always sure with our family planning, Baby. Why?”

“So does that mean you're going to stay with Jennie unnie compared to me after this right?”

“What's on your mind? Don't worry, you will always be my favorite little sister forever and that won't change at all”

“Promise?”

“Yes I do. I love you more than Jisoo does”

“Yah, Monkey! I love her more than you do okay”, added Jisoo while cross her arms to me.

As soon as I finished lunch with the couple, I returned back to the office and a question hovered in my mind that bothering me to asked Jisoo something.

“Jisoo-yah, why is your sister getting more and more temperamental lately?”

“Who?”

“Idiot. Do you have another sister besides than Jennie?”

“Oh that brat”

“Yes, what should I need to do to take her heart? I haven’t been in a relationship for a long time, so I lack experience for that”

“I have a suggestion for you”

“What is it?”, I excitedly asked back.

“Ahm I don't know what is it...”

She laughed at me.

“What??? You want me to steal a kiss from that fierce lion? You crazy”

“Should tried first bro. I did it to your sister and it's works”

“Gosh, You are very unhelpful. By the way, what is Jennie's favorite item?”

“Ofcourse, I do. She's my sister”, she replied while annoying me with her naughty face.

“How can my sister like you. So what's thing that my future wife like?”, I smiled widely.

“Jennie loves white daisy flowers and really likes milk ice cream along with Korean food. She also likes small and cute items for example souvenirs or else. Jennie really likes to watch the sunset at dusk and in the morning....”, she told my everything about Jennie's favourite.

I need to prepare myself to accept her as what she is, also to fulfilling all her requests so that she could live happily with me in the future. Maybe I wasted the opportunity to make Jennie happy in our past relationship, because of the time and the responsibilities I bore caused her to suffered before. I will make sure that she is the happiest woman in the world after she has legitimately become as my wife and the only woman of my heart soon.
