Chapter Twelve: Leave

A loud bang took Oliver out of his trance like state. He slowly looked up to see a large explosion at the corner of the building. He was still registering what had just happened and looked over at Ruby. A red flash buzzed before his eyes and Ruby was gone.

Milla growled in anger "Remember this Oliver Queen! Remember this!" She yelled running off.

Oliver chased after her. She turned out the warehouse and down an alleyway. He followed in quick pursuit but when he turned the corner she was in no sight.

Oliver stopped and hit a wall hurting his hand. He winced but the pain was nothing compared to what he felt inside. John hadn't seen much of what happened. He saw the blood but never saw who died. However he saw Oliver's reaction. So, When the crowd dispersed he didn't go over to see the old Felicity's body.

He just followed Oliver. "I didn't see who they killed man, I don't want to know, But we need to get back to base, Back to Ruby and Felicity" John said.

The word Felicity stung in Oliver's mind. He then remembered that the Felicity who just died wasn't his Felicity. His Felicity was at his home safe and sound. That Felicity was what she could become. Oliver nodded. He went as quick as he could to the Manor.

The door was open and he stepped inside slowly. Ruby was sat on the stairs her hands smothered in her mothers blood and some on her hair and face. Max was no where to be seen. Wally stood next to Ruby wearing his costume.

He was the red flash that had rescued Ruby in the chaos.

Then, Oliver's eyes fell to Felicity as she raced downstairs. "Oliver what-" She began.

However she was cut off by Oliver rushing to her and hugging her in a tight breathe taking hug. Ruby looked up at the two. Her father and her mother. The same mother she saw butchered a few mintues ago.

Felicity was dazed and hugged him back. "What happened? I didn't see cause the camera's cut out" She said.

"Shhh, Just shh" Oliver whispered in her ear. In all the brutal deaths he had seen Shado's, His mothers and Tommy's. Nothing had compared to Felicity's. At least this time he had a chance to change her fate.

Keep her safe.

After a few mintues Oliver pulled away and stepped towards Ruby. Max finally stumbled in. His clothes drenched in blood and he held a body in his arms covered in a blanket.

"Who is that?" Felicity asked stepping near Max.

"Don't!" Ruby said standing up and pushing Felicity away from Max.

"Hey!?" Felicity questioned.

"You all need to leave!" Ruby hissed.

"Ruby?" Oliver questioned.

"Just go! Haven't you done enough!? Wally will help you back to your time" Ruby yelled as she walked past him.

Oliver grabbed her arm "Ruby?" He repeated.

She looked at him "Don't ever come back" She said and walked off.

Wally took the Arrow Team and into a large ballroom type room. In the middle was a treadmill hooked up to a metal archway. "I can take you back to your time, anything you want to do you should do now" He said.

Oliver grabbed a black hoodie that was on the treadmill and put it on "I'll be back in half an hour" Oliver told them.

"Where you going?" Felicity asked him.

Oliver didn't look at her cause every time he did he just saw her with a large gash across her throat. "There's someone I need to speak to before we leave" He said.

Milla ran through an alleyway panting and crying. Her back hit a wall and she slid down it. She looked at her hands which shook still covered in blood.

"How could I do this?" She spluttered.

Kane turned the corner and found Milla. "My doll...." He whispered looking at her.

Milla looked up and Kane was shocked. "Your hair... it's white? and your eyes are white too? Milla what happened?" He asked.

She shakily stood up "Im sorry Kane, Milla's gone, Just me, Old Serah now..." She informed him.

The warehouse was empty now. At least on the upper level. Oliver walked into the centre of the room. Blood pooled where Felicity's body used to be.

He clenched his fist and dug his nails into his palm. Hoping the pain would outweigh the pain he felt inside. He walked towards the stairs and walked down them into the basement.

He looked around downstairs and saw that most of the cells were open and the people had escaped. Oliver looked in each cell in search of the person he wanted.

Suddenly a hand jumped in front of him through the bars. He looked at the source and saw a dirty malnourished woman. "Get me out of here!" She begged.

He heard chains moving in the direction opposite. He turned his head to see Ruby's cell neighbour. The old scared man looked directly at Oliver but his face still shielded by his hair.

"Don't let her out" He told him.

"Why?" Oliver asked him.

"The things.... the things she did to Ruby.... what she put her through... She deserves to rot" He told Oliver.

Oliver looked at the girl. "Please, I never meant it, I did it for Milla! I did it for my sister!" She yelled to him as he walked over to the other mans cell.

He pried open the mans door and got the chains off him. He didn't speak the rest of the way.

Ruby stood in her room touching the engagement ring she once wore. She threw it at the wall and hit her bed in anger. "Why Richard? Why?" She begged to a ghost falling to her knees but not drawing any tears.

She heard the doorbell go. She got up and grabbed her bow and her arrows. She walked downstairs slowly an arrow in her bow. She heard noise.

"...I thought you were dead..." Max said.

She reached the bottom of the steps and saw him hugging the man who was trapped in that basement with her. "Who are you?" She questioned.

He looked up. An old face of Oliver Queen. Not the young one she had spent her days with the old one who was her father, who knew who she was. She dropped her bow and arrow and ran to him wrapping her arms around him and crying tears of joy for the first time in years....

There will be an epilogue and a sequel however I need a cover

You can make me one by pming me it. The sequel will be called 'red arrow' you can play with the idea all you like but preferably similar to this one with an arrow on the front or something very simple and minimalistic
