She Goes A Blaze

The alarm clock screams into the blissful silence of slumber. It yanks #79 out the dream world and into her bedroom. She pushes herself up and takes a deep breath. She lets it out with a huff and turns off the alarm clock. #79 steps out of bed, bracing herself for the drop. Keeping her eyes open feels like keeping two magnets away from each other. Her eyes constantly snap shut. Every time they shut, she has to pry them back open. She hasn't seen her hair yet, but she already knows it's tangled. Slowly, she walks to her dresser. Once again her eyelids shut themselves as she gets closer to the mirror. She swings them open again and meets a sight she never thought she'd see.

        Green eyes!

        She screams at the sight.

It's so loud, the customers waiting outside can hear.

-----------------------------------

#79 and #82 sit on the roof enjoying their lunch together. It's a pleasant spring day, and the clouds run free throughout the sky. The sun radiates on their skin and gives the air a nice warm feeling. During this time. #82 has completely taken off her blazer and rolled down her socks.

"So, your appearance changed," she says.

#79 nods, "They're green! Really, really, green!"

        "Calm down, you'll attract attention."

        "But they're green. So green..."

#82 ignores her comment, "I wonder what this means. We're going to have to experiment with this." She leans back with her legs sprawled out on the floor.

"Um... Are you sure you want to lay down like that? Your legs are kinda wide open," #79 warns.

#82 doesn't budge, "Hmm? Why should I? It's not like there are guys around or anything."

        "Yeah, but like um..."

        "Hm?"

        "Nevermind."

#79 looks away from #82. Out of all the Changes that can take place, her personality's new form is the most surprising. (Not like it's a bad thing though.) #79 feels weird about her friend changing. What if she changes so much, the two of them grow apart. Who else would she have to talk to except for The Server? She begins to feel uneasy. The two of them are doing the best they can to figure out this mystery. The best thing she can do for herself right now is to think about something else.

#79 looks around the roof. Students from all classes and grades were enjoying the great spring weather. Even the Four Rich Colors, FRC, are present. The four of them are preoccupied with their own affairs, but it seems like some girls are still bothered by them. Specifically Hamasaki. #79 overhears this.

"They got in an argument again didn't they?" #79 overhears someone say.

"Yeah and I watched the whole thing. And guess what? Hamasaki was the one to start it again," a girl responds.

The voice is familiar. It instantly spikes #79's nerves. She snaps her head in the direction of the two of them. The friend group leans against the railings while they talk together. Her eyes settle upon one of the girls. It's that chick from before!

"Not surprised," they continue, unconcerned with #79's watchful eye.

"And get this, she was being blunt and obnoxious and Watanabe had enough of it. Honestly, she would be bearable if she would just cut the friendly act. We all know that there's a tyrant underneath all that makeup."
