"Where we going?" The little girl asked. Being pulled by a firm hand gripping around her small fragile fingers, merging together.

"We are playing a game, a big game!" Jason said in a childish voice.

He raced down the steps, each foot slapping and echoing up the building. He continued to hold the girls hand, guiding her while she stumbled behind.

"But my mommy and daddy will be looking for me" she almost cried, looking behind her.

Jason then stopped, placed a fake stochastic smile and placed his two manly hands on the both of the little girls open arms.

"That's the point. We are playing hide go seek!" He smiled "You are brave enough to do this... right? Cause only brave girls play this game, and I'm not so sure if your brave enough." Jason stalled and pouted childishly "Well, I guess I'll take you back to your mommy-"

"NO!" The little girl stomped "I'm brave! I'm brave to play!"

"That's more like it." He sinisterly smiled, crouching back down on his knees "Now...this is a big game of hide and seek. One were it can last over a night! So, we are going to work as a team to catch your mommy and daddy and win the game! But first, we need to plan. Okay?"

"Does this mean I'm having a sleepover?" She asked innocently, rubbing her eyes.

Jason sighed, rubbing his face in thought.

"Yes" He said sarcastically "It's a sleepover"

The little girl blinked, looked behind her and turned around again.

"But I don't even have any pj's and plus, I don't know you mister"

"I'm Jason, old friend of your dad's." He lied "And your name is?"

"Stephanie" she replied, with more courage and pride.

"Stephanie?" Jason keyed  "Well, Stephanie. Now we know each other, do you trust me?"

Stephanie then once again glanced behind her, holding her teddy tight. Her brown hair flicked around and she glanced her eyes up the steps where she was far away from her apartment and cosy bed. She turned back round to look at the front door to the open street, thinking. She then looked back at Jason.

She nodded, but still slightly unsure

"Good. Now, we are going to go back to my place and start a plan! Do you know what a plan is?"

She quietly nodded again

"Very smart!" He laughed "Now, you can't let mommy or daddy know where we are, or tell anyone else cause that will ruin the game, right?"

"Right"

"Excellent!" Jason said now clapping his hands "Let the game begin..."

Jake woke up with a sudden painful still stiffness around his neck. He didnt have the same comfort feeling sleeping on the couch, other than their bed. His eyes felt dry and crusted like a baked desert and his brown curled hair was like staggered hay stack.

He groaned while lifting his body off the sturn couch and flipped his legs onto the floor. The small, thin blankets fell down, stroking his skin and flopped onto the ground, still half draped over the sofa.

He sighed and rubbed his hand over his face, trying to banish his tiredness, not having a clue to what time it was.

Jake then peirced his eyes in front, his vision looking at the kitchen and saw Amy in her sergeant uniform. Not once did she say good morning as her eyes seemed drilled onto the floor, tying her hair into a slick ponytail. But she must of seen him still on the couch asleep. Just tending to ignore him
