Jason watched Taylor enter the house alone. She left him and shea to deal with the two cops in the back, unconscious. Jason placed his head on the head rest of the car seat and groaned. So much to be done just to be with Amy. His fiancee, the love to carry their child. That's right. Not jakes, his.
Jason's child.
It was going to be his, he will make sure of it. April wasn't the one for him, she didn't love him. She couldn't even produce a child. Weak she was. She needed to be let go. Forgotten.
Right?
But those forest green eyes and her soft luxurious chocolate oak hair, were breath taking. Her faint small little kisses of the sun, her freckles, were so beautiful. He remembered her so clearly. So vividly. That smile that made a rainy day better.
"Why?"
Jasons eyes widened. He knew that soft, smooth sweet caramel voice slither into ear like a soft waterfall. He lifted his head and gazed his eyes to the right. There she was. April.
"Baby...I'm-" he said, so softly. But got cut off by her cotton voice
"Why did you do it?" she began to tear up.
Jason then noticed the bruisings around her neck. So purple and red. Looking so painful to touch. It only made him realise that those terrible marks glaring at him, was the cause of his bare scandalous hands. Her face wasn't the beautiful warm coffee glow. It was pale. Her face was gaunt, so dead looking. Whatever happened to her smile?
"You didn't love me" He closed his eyes "You didn't love me, I had to do what was right"
He then opened them to realise his first love was gone. Nothing was there. He did nothing but just stare at the empty seat she previously was in. Suddenly a held back snigger was heard in the back from Shea, still currently in the car. Jason looked behind him and glared at him so devilishly.
"I-um" He then vigorously pulled at the door handle "Why won't this DOOR WORRK"
Suddenly Taylor came walking out of the beach house, strutting, with such a proud grin. Almost like she won something. Well, to be in fact. She won the battle against the nine-nine.
"Taylor" Shea called, banging the window "Jasons talking about his ghost of a girlfriend, and can someone please get the frikin keys for this damn door!" He continued to pull.
She heard his muffled voice from inside the car and cringed. She took one glance at her brother and he was sharply looking the other way. Taylor groaned, rubbed her face and pulled the door handle, letting shea spill out of the car.
"Thank god, at least someone isn't wanting to screw ghosty the girlfriend" He joked, then looked at Taylor who was looking at jason "He's going soft Tay" He mumbled
"Quiet!" She snapped "Go inside and tie everyone up to one chair each. Ropes are in the back of the car. Make sure they are tight, Understand? I'll be there in a second" she then flipped her eyes back to Jason "I need to sort something out"
Shea looked at him as well and rolled his eyes. Pathetic. He was such a softie to his perspective. Who could like him? Certainly not shea. No no. He hated him, shea knew he was mentally stronger than him. Maybe not physically. But mentally.
He groaned, turning his body round and went to the trunk of the car, pulling out the heaps of ropes that looked like snakes. He placed them around his shoulder and strummed to the house.
He had to do everything. Everything by Taylors words, so demanding, so strict. She liked to be ahead, he knew that from their past friendship. She liked to be in charge, the alpha. The leader. But shea wanted that more.He wanted to make her proud and seem bigger. They both shared something in common.
