Ainsley had gone back to completely ignoring Peter Parker in the last two weeks. She still sat with the group at lunch though she acted as though the teenaged boy did not exist. She spoke as though he was not there and when he tried to talk to her she managed to disappear very quickly if the other two members of their little group were not there. She made no attempt to apologise to him since their altercation in the hallway and she never would. She even managed to actively avoid him when he was at the tower working on his internship. Even if it meant avoiding her father all evening because the boy had stayed late or eating her dinner at 2am because he'd stayed for dinner and she was not going to sit at the table and eat with him.

To Ainsley Stark, Peter Parker would forever be bad news.

But Peter had only become more interested in the girl. He had gone from mildly interested to almost full out fascinated by her and was finding himself almost finding reasons to do more work at the tower in the hopes that he could run into her. He'd never thought he would be hung up on the girl who slapped him but here he was. Though this had not worked out well so far as the girl seemed to be avoiding him at all possible chances.

Until today it would appear. For when he walked into the stark tower labs he came face to face with both Tony and Ainsley Stark. Both Starks seemed heavily engaged in the piece of technology they were working on. It happened to be the same silver bracelet Tony had been working on a couple of months prior. He stood just admiring the pair of highly intelligent individuals as they worked.

He watched as the father-daughter duo turned to look at one another and smiled. Ainsley Stark smiling was officially the eighth wonder of the world. He could have fainted upon the sight of Ainsley taking off her jumper. Though his eyes widened at the piece of technology which worked its way from her left wrist to cuff the top of her bicep. It was an intricate panelling of different receptors and connected them together. Each receptor seemed to glow with a purple hue reminding Peter of the colour her eyes had turned that one afternoon. It was such an advanced piece of technology and it was stunning to look at.

Though what took him the most by surprise was the mark on her left inner bicep. And it suddenly made sense to him why she'd been ignoring him. For upon her arm sat the identical Soulmark to his own.

"Holy Fuck" Slipped from his mouth much louder than he had intended and he watched as both Starks turned to look at him.

"Jesus kid you know it's not cool to sneak up on people right?" Tony replied quickly taking control of the situation watching his daughters face drop and as she rushed to pull down her jumper sleeve. Tony had diverted his eyes towards Peter who stood there damaged web slinger in hand and with very messy hair from his spare hand tugging through it with nervousness. But before he could turn his eyes back towards his daughter he heard the familiar sizzle of a portal as she 'blinked' herself out of the room. Letting out a sigh he turned back towards Peter who's eyes were the size of a bugs. After all the teenaged boy had just watched his soulmate create, step through and close a portal to what he could only assume was her bedroom.
