Chap. 24 Slash and Storm

Shocked, we all had began slightly sinking into the ropes the snakes had somehow tied us in and feeling small. I had no way of helping anyone nor did anyone else. I a specially felt bad for the pup that went came with Flame and Dawn, for he was just a small pup going through this horrid thing.

"Now now, why hasss it gone quiet." the lead snake said turning her head to one side.

"I want my mommy!" the pup whimpered tears rushing from his eyes, Dawn who was tied up beside him looked at him with soothing eyes.

"Shh Zero it's all right dear one, they won't hurt you." Dawn soothed, the snakes all shook with laughter.

"Oh, we won't will we?" the lead snake cackled in delight. She slithered to the pup and shot out her fangs opening her mouth widely. Zero shook with fear his eyes closed tightly as if he just gave into a death to come. I watched in terror as she inched closer to his head, he sobbed loudly a tears seeping from his closed eyes.

"Don't even dare!" someone said from behind, I shifted myself to see two blue and black wolves standing in the faint light of the cave. One of the wolves had lighting like fur with a greyish tinge, the other had smother fur without the grey tinge.

"You two!" the snake hissed, clearly knowing who they were.

"Aww, ya miss us?" the grey tinged wolf said sarcastically.

"Get them!" the lead snake hissed, her minions slithered swiftly towards them. The two split apart from eachother, one cutting into the ropes that tied us and the other went in another way. When the wolf got to me she whispered,

"Slash."

"What?" I asked.

"Slash is my name, my sister is Storm." Slash whispered gnawing off one last piece of rope. I rushed up and ran with her as we joined my friends and Storm in a fight with the crystal snakes. Zero stayed behind being to young to fight, End who was almost awake came on strong to fight. The snakes were fast, small, and poisonous we all had a hard time finally taking them down.

When done with the job we all were bit up pretty bad,

"Good job everyone." Storm smirked, she and her sister looked to be half Dracian wolf - half Northern winged wolf. I smiled tiredly and yawned. Flame laughed,

"So uh, we had better go right?" Flame said. Asher was standing beside the new male whom Eclipse took a shine to.

"Who's he?" I asked Nate.

"Eclipse says his names Spike." Nate said as we all left the cave. My stomach then growled making me think of how we hadn't eaten in days,

"Hey, anyone else here starving?" I asked.

"Duh, yeah!" Eclipse howled.

"Now what do you think?" End said sarcastically. I smirked, we all walked out of the cave then and into the light.

"Say, how about we hunt?" Nate glimmered. We all agreed with glee, even Slash and Storm.
