It had been two days, my mind was almost used to the thought of no destiny. Yet, now that the ceremony was a few hours away I was feeling more and more down. Many wolves my age were excited, including my friends. Asher was in a fix as well, for he was in an un settling den and no one was aloud to visit nor speak to him. Besides their was protestor wolves everywhere.
I walked out of my den, it seemed too quiet. I walked quickly around, I had found I over slept. The 'destiny seeking' was in full throttle, my friends were in about the middle of a long line outside the Elder's den.
As I came closer my friends turned to me, smiles appearing on their faces. Nate was in front, End was after him, Flame came after, and Dawn was last. They only had a few wolves before them till they too would get a destiny.
"Hey, Shasta!" End called. I ran to them,
"You guys are quite excited I bet?" I smirked.
"Not as much as we would with you getting a destiny, but fine I guess." Flame replied. The line got shorter as a wolf came out of the Elder's den, he looked so happy. Nate would be soon next. I smiled happy only for my friends, I couldn't even find glee for myself.
"I'm next!" Nate said, his voice tightening with excitement. End was after him and was equally excited. I watched as Nate was called in, he looked back at me and the others.
"Wish me luck." he said, disappearing in the den's opening. My friends were the last participants in the 'destiny seeking'.
Soon Nate came out, we all went to greet him.
"So, what is it?" Dawn asks, exactly what we all wanted to know.
"I'm a Protector Wolf." he said proudly. We cheered and ruffed with him. End shook,
"I'm next." she said running into the den. As we played around with Nate, it seemed like a clouding(hour) before End came out.
Then finally she skipped out,
"So?" I ranted ecstatically. She smirked,
"Your looking at a new Warrior Wolf!" she woofed greatly. Flame went in next, she looked nervous about her seeking. She was gone for only a little while before coming back to us. She looked glad,
"I am a healer." she said happily. I smiled feeling proud of my friends. Now it was Dawn's turn, she skidded into the den. We waited more than a clouding for her. She then ran out with a smile,
"I'm a Forwarding Huntress." she cewed. A forwarding huntress was usually a lead huntress of a specific hunting guild in the pack.
Suddenly, a she-wolf rushed by us knocking Dawn over.
"Sorry!" she yelled disappearing into the Elder's den. I could tell it was a wolf named, Eclipse.
