Chap. 23 The Cave

(Blizzards POV)

End, Shasta, Nate, and I all walked together through the snow. The two girls laughing and talking while Nate and I walked without words spoken. Then,

"Look!" Nate barked pointing a wing towards an eary hollow cave. Tracks led up to it, hopefully our friend's tracks, for their were four pairs of tracks though accompanied by a few more pairs.

"Looks like we may find the others." End said with a smirk. I though felt skeptical of the cave, I could see strange hidden scratch marks on the ground. As if someone had been dragged in, then the tracks were hidden quickly after.

"I don't know guys it seems...." I started but was cut off by the others walking swiftly forward. I found that I had no choice but to follow, when we got in it was very spacious. One could also tell that a pack had once lived here, I somewhat wondered if it could have been my particular pack.

My thoughts were suddenly broken by the girl's cries of pain and before to long I too became in pain. Dragged alongside the girl's and Nate. Not sure of my capture nor my thorny surroundings, it was as if I were blinded in some odd way. Unable to even move really, oddness is all I could feel. I could hear my friend's murmurs, I wanted to say things to them as well but could not all that came were mumbles.

Then, after a while I felt the jolt of my body coming to a stop. My sight hearing and movement improved, gradually I gained all lost body movements. I found that I was tied in a thorny vined rope, in a strange cavern with only a faint light showing through a hole in the wall. Every friend of mine was there plus then some including a pup of my same breed and a Dracian wolf.

"Ssso you all have finally awakened." a hiss voice said, a large white snake slithered from the shadows. Eight other smaller snakes of a grey color followed, they all had a single shining crystal upon their heads. End growled,

"Hey, why did you do this to us?" she barked trying to get herself out of the thorn ropes. The apparent leader snake smiled making her scales move as her grin appeared,

"Why, dear girl we be the cryssstal guardiansss." the snake cewed in supremacy. I shook my head,

"That doesn't answer her question!" I growled loudly, the snake looked amused by our outbursts.

"Oh, I'm dreadfully sssorry I seem to have overlooked that." the snake started, her tongue licking the air.

"We have brought you here for territory reassonsss." she said lastly.

"Territory?" " TERRITORY!" End roared.

"I'll show ya territory!" End growled banging her head against the hard ground to try to wriggle from her ropes. The snake beside her bit her in the neck, End slowly fell into a strange eye-open sleep. We all looked at her in shock the lead snake smiled again,

"SSShe'll wake in a while." she cackled, Eclipse snickered.

"Your sick, know that?" Eclipse ruffled her neck fur.

"I know." the lead snake cackled once again licking the air.

"Now, as I was saying." the snake started.

"You all entered our territory, so now we have to well..." the snake said looking sideways to the floor.

"Kill you..." she cackled, we all became pale beneath our fur.
