Park
Don't do shit
We'll be right there

Well that's unfortunate.

When Beam saw Suthee heading to one of the wards, Beam decided to follow him, of course being as discrete as possible. He hid behind one of the empty beds a couple rows back as he watched Suthee stop at one of them. He narrowed his eyes when he saw Suthee visiting a middle aged man, because the thing was, the man did not look like a man.

Okay, that sounded slightly weird.

The man wasn't an alien, but he might as well be. His face was swollen at all the wrong places, his head was wrapped with bandages, his hand was casted, and one of his leg was propped up on a pillow. Beam's jaw dropped to the ground when he saw the condition of the man.

What in the hell happened to him?

He took a picture of the two and sent it to Forth, asking whether or not he knew about who the man was. However, he didn't reply, so he sent the same to Park, who texted him back not nearly as quick as he needed.

Beam was about to flee out the scene when his knee bumped into the fucking bed, causing him to let out not only a muffled cry, but also a rattling sound from the bed.

"Well, I should be a fucking spy," Beam muttered sarcastically under his breath.

Sure enough, Suthee's head turned to his direction.

"P'Beam?!"

Beam stood up from his crouching position, trying to hide the pain he got from his throbbing knee. He gave Suthee a surprised expression, faking the fact that he had been spying on him for the last five minutes.

"Nong Suthee? What are you doing here?" he pretended.

Suthee walked towards him. He then replied, "I'm just visiting someone, P'. What about you...? Why are you... here?"

Beam kept in mind his overly confused tone. These days, Beam had to learn to be more alert with his surrounding if he didn't want to end up in a ditch somewhere.

"Oh, I'm visiting Nong Yo," Beam said truthfully.

At that, Suthee's eyes widened. "Ai'Yo? What's wrong with him?"

Beam knitted his eyebrows. Ming said Yo had an accident during promotion, that meant Suthee was supposed to be there with him. Suthee was supposed to know what happened to Yo.

"I don't know," Beam replied. "I was hoping you know. You're the one promoting with him."

"Oh," Suthee voiced. "I was... somewhere else, P'. I couldn't come to the promotion."

Beam nodded his head slowly. Although Beam was suspicious, he wasn't going to interrogate him right then and there.

Right then, his phone let out a small beep. He took it out, and that was when Park gave him the reply. He frowned when Park didn't give him an answer to his previous question. Did that mean Park knew who the man was or what?

Without replying to the text, Beam slipped his phone back to his pocket.

"Okay, I'm gonna check on Nong Yo first," Beam said to Suthee, excusing himself.

"Okay, P'," Suthee simply said, forcing a smile.

Beam walked away from him, but not before taking one last glance at him, who was now taking out his phone. Curious, Beam hid behind the wall. He needed to know everything about Suthee. Maybe, just maybe, he could gain some blackmailing property. This was way out of his comfort zone, and ability, honestly.
