Love was a big word for Forth.

For years, he had been fighting against himself... for himself.

He never thought he deserved hearing those three words. Hell, he never thought anybody would even say those words to him.

From the moment he made the mistake that left him drowning himself in guilt, Forth had never once thought he would hear those words aimed towards him. And now to hear the person who saved him from dying, who took his hand and guided him off the ocean of guilt, who reminded him he was human, whom he loved, said that he loved him back? It sounded like a magical dream for Forth.

When Forth said he loved Beam earlier that day, he didn't expect Beam to say it back—at least not as soon as this. Now that he heard it, all kinds of feelings were erupting from his heart: relief, happiness, and love all mixed in one. Those simple words were enough to make Forth drowning—this time in joy.

"I love you too, Forth."

Forth was frozen. He was taken aback by the sudden confession. After realizing what Beam had just said, he immediately cover his face with his clenched fist. He was blushing, shades of red covering his ears to his neck. Beam was doing all kinds of thing to his heart and he was overjoyed.

"Oy! Ai'Forth, why are you so red? Drunk already?" asked Park while sipping on his own glass of whiskey.

Beam chuckled seeing his reaction and proceeded to take another sip from the glass of alcohol he held on his hand. However, before he could drink the liquid, Forth took his wrist and removed the glass from his grip with his free hand. Before Beam could ask any question, Forth stood up, tugging Beam's wrist as a signal for him to stand up too.

"What are you doing?" asked Pha.

All six of them were confused, and seeing both of their red faces made them even more so.

"We're going first. See you later," Forth merely said, dragging Beam with him towards the parking lot, leaving their friends confused as to what was happening. Unable to wait any longer, he drove back to his dorm building.

"Can you say it again?"

"Again?"

"Again, please?"

Throughout the entire car ride, Beam was giggling at Forth's reaction, making him even more embarrassed. He kept on telling Beam to repeat those three words, and Beam complied; he thought Forth was extremely adorable.

Once they arrived, Forth quickly pulled Beam to his room, their lips already finding each other's before he could even open the door.

Needless to say, their night was spent making love and whispering words of affection towards one another. All the while, their new matching tattoos, Forth's black and grey realism and Beam's trash polka, connected with each other.

"I love you, Beam."

"I love you too, Forth."
