Cynthia waited with four other people, a second-year team named Team CFVY. A few weeks ago, she came across them and with their Pokemon as well. Their leader, Coco, had a Pokémon Cynthia was very well familiar with.

She had a grayish-brown, avian Pokémon with black and white markings. Its head and upper body are primarily black with an "M"-shaped pattern over its white chest. On its forehead is a small, grayish-brown spot. On its face is a white, mask-like marking with a pattern of spikes along the lower edge. It has small, black eyes with white pupils and a long, orange beak with a black tip. On the back of its head is a long tuft of feathers, which curves forward. The lower halves of its wings are black, and it has black tail feathers with a single white feather in the center. Its orange, anisodactyl feet have black talons. Coco named it
"Staravia!"
Fox, a blind teenager, had a Pokémon that could be very beneficial to him if not for his Semblance.

He had a blue, bat-like Pokémon. While it lacks eyes, it has pointed ears with purple insides and a mouth with two sharp teeth on each jaw. It has purple wing membranes supported by two, elongated fingers, and two long, thin, tails. Fox named it Echo.
"Zubat! Zubat!" It screeched.
Velvet, who Cynthia had many lovely talks with her, was familiar with what Cynthia had to offer. She was also the first of Team CFVY to have two Pokémon already.
