soobin sighed for the sixth time that day as he gathered his things for the long, busy day ahead of him. he couldn't fall asleep the night before so he was exhausted and he had one killer headache.

his best friend, hueningkai, comes skipping into his room, chirping, "good morning soobin-ah!" he then proceeds to trap the older in a bone-crushing hug.

immediately happier because of the cute maknae, soobin replies back with a slight smile, "good morning, ningning-ah."

"how are you doing today?" he asks, placing himself down onto soobin's bed, comfortably.

"great," soobin fakes a smile, feeling his headache coming back to him. "how are you?"

"hmm," hueningkai narrows his eyes in suspicion as he puts his hands on his hips. "you are lying."

"no i'm not," soobin laughs it off, hating how well his best friend knew him. "make sure you are packed for today."

"you're nervous for today, aren't you?" hueningkai inquires, slightly raising an eyebrow. "hyung, it's just an interview! you will nail it and you have us to help you throughout it!"

"i'm not nervous about the interview—" before soobin could finish his statement, hueningkai shoots him a pointed look, making him sigh in defeat.

"okay, fine, i'll admit it... i'm so fucking terrified that i can literally feel my heart beating out of my chest," soobin exhales out raggedly. "it's just that... this interview is in english... my english isn't good and i'm the leader, i'm supposed to be the one who's talking and leading but... i just feel as if i'm not a good leader. i bet yeonjun would be a better leader than i am."

with an enraged look, hueningkai zooms up to his feet and proceeds to slap his hyung on the head several times.

"yah you idiot!" hueningkai yells with teary eyes. "you're an amazing leader! you're caring, loving, and selfless; everything you could possibly want in a leader! you always make sure we are happy and you always are there for us when we are not! you're my best friend and my gum, so don't you ever say that again!"

soobin stared up at hueningkai with wide, stary eyes as he breathes out, "y-you're so perfect, hueningkai."

with a deep blush, hueningkai's vision becomes blurry as he looks into the pretty, golden eyes of his hyung's. they shone as they looked into his and made hueningkai feel dizzy.

"h-hyung..." hueningkai whispered as he felt his face inch closer to soobin's. it was if he had no more control over his body; it just felt right to lean over to his hyung's face.

their lips were just centimeters apart when the door burst open, revealing a bubbly beomgyu. he is at first confused at their proximity, but then smirks as he know what they were about to do.

"you sly dogs!" beomgyu slaps his knee as he lets out a loud, squeaky laugh. "before you idiots suck each other's faces off, we got an interview to do so come get your horny asses to the car."
