"look at him," a voice whispers with disgust. "it's that weird kid."

"oh my, that is him," another voice pips in, equally disgusted. "he's so strange and silent. it's a shame, if he weren't such a faggot, i would totally date him."

taehyun rolls his eyes at the annoying girls who decided to rob him of his peace. he was used to it though so he simply did what he always does to scare off unwanted people.

taehyun takes his eyes off the book he reading and stares dead in one of the girl's eyes, not daring to blink not once. the girl is taken aback as she tries to maintain eye contact, only to be unable to do so.

she frantically whispers something into the other girl's ear and then proceed to quickly scurry off like kicked puppies. he smirks to himself and picks up where he left off on his book.

just as he was about to really get into the book, a bubbly voice catches him off guard, scaring the shit out of him.

"hello there!" a cute, blonde-haired boy beams, extending a hand towards him. "i'm beomgyu, nice to meet you!"

confused and slightly annoyed, taehyun replies in a monotone, "i'm taehyun, now leave me alone, can't you see that i'm busy?" he then directs his eyes back to his book.

"oh, i'm sorry!" beomgyu giggles, not at all fazed by taehyun's rudeness. "i don't mean to be a bother. you just looked so lonely and i wanted to keep you some company."

"everyone here in this school hates me, if you haven't noticed, so screw off." taehyun almost growls, his lips twisting into a menacing scowl.

"i don't hate you," beomgyu smiles softly, taking a seat across from taehyun. "it's stupid why people hate you. i simply don't understand what's so wrong with being gay."

"oh yeah?" taehyun challenges with a raised eyebrow. "i bet you're just like them. it's not the first time someone has come up to me, being all friendly and shit, only because it was a dare, not because they actually wanted to be my friend so if you'll excuse me, i would rather much prefer being left alone." and with that, taehyun picks up his stuff and leaves the library, not at all feeling guilty about being so cold to the cute boy.

he had been hurt so many times, he just couldn't afford to be hurt again. he didn't know how much more heartbreaks his frail heart could take.

"where you going, faggot?" soobin slurred out, tripping over his feet due to the fact he was super drunk. "it's a bit late to be out, bad things could happen you such a weak twink like you."

taehyun chose to ignore the dumbass that was right in back of him, quickening his pace as he heard the footsteps of his bully closer.

"come back here," soobin growls, pulling taehyun by the waist harshly, causing taehyun to yelp out of pain. "i'm not finished with you."

"let me go!" taehyun panics, punching soobin dead straight in the nose. "you stupid, overgrown rabbit, stop touching me!"

"you bitch!" he grunts, clutching his nose with shaky hands. "now you've really done it!"

taehyun trembles on the ground as soobin draws closer and closer to him, his eyes shinning crazily and his hands in angry fists. he screws his eyes shut when soobin draws his fist back, anticipating a punch, only for it not to come.

"you really shouldn't beat up on someone so small." a familiar voice rings though taehyun's ears.

he cracks an eye open to reveal beomgyu tightly gripping soobin's fist. beomgyu briefly looks to taehyun then looks back at soobin.

"let my hand go!" soobin barks, fighting against beomgyu's strong hands. "you fucking bitch!"

"leave taehyun alone," beomgyu snarls, tightening his grasp on soobin's fist. "next time you fuck with him, i'll kill you."

"i-i..." soobin tries to speak to no avail. he gulps, then proceeds to walk away, fearing the strong midget.

beomgyu casts his attention on taehyun, approaching him softly, "hey are you okay?"

"y-yeah," taehyun scratches his head with a slight blush. "it's not the first time this has happened, it's okay."

"no, it's not okay," beomgyu sighs, taking taehyun's hands in his. "anytime you need my help, just tell me, and i will be there. i might not know you well, but i want to. i don't want you to be lonely anymore so please, let me fix that hole in your heart."

"are you sure you want to do that?" taehyun bits his lips, trying not to focus on how soft and warm beomgyu's hands were. "i'm not easy to handle."

beomgyu smirks at taehyun's cute expression and says, "i love not easy. trust me, i definitely want to be around you."

"okay..." taehyun slightly smiles, making beomgyu's heart quicken his beat-make. "but if i find out you're just playing around with me, i'll cut your balls off."

"you're too cute and squishy to do that," beomgyu laughs, placing a small kiss onto taehyun's delicate hand. "i think i am going to stay with you for a long while."
