Chapter 25

Endgame

Natasha's POV
We hear Scott at the door, he tells us his plan to time travel and bring everyone back. We go to Tony's house to get him to help. But he doesn't want to, so we make a time machine ourselves, it ends up not working. Thankfully Tony shows up.

I go to find Clint, I watch him murder someone. What is he doing? Why is doing this? "You shouldn't be here." Clint says with his back to me. "Neither should you." I reply it's raining hard Clint is soaked I have an umbrella luckily. "I got a job to do." Clint sighs. "Is that what your calling this? Killing all these people isn't going to bring your family back." I convince him. I see Clint's eyes get red, he looks like he's about to cry. "We found something a chance...maybe" I step towards him. "Don't." He says now really crying. "Don't. What?" I ask. "Give me hope." I see him let a few tears loose. "I'm sorry I couldn't give it to you sooner." I grab his hand.

When Clint and I get back to the compound we test the machine it worked! We find out about the stones and spilt into teams to get our friends back, get Bucky back.

Steve talks to us, we get ready to go our separate ways. "See you in a minute." I smile at Steve. Suddenly I feel a pull and we're in a different time and a different world.

Clint and I say goodbye to Nebula and Rhodey and head to Vormir. We see a guardian there who tells us one of us has to die to get the stone. I sit down on a log while Clint watches the Red Skull.

"Maybe he's making this shit up." Clint says. I know this isn't being made up, one of us is going to have to die for this stone. And it's not going to be Clint. "No I don't think so." I reply. "Why cause he knew your daddy's name." Clint asks. "I didn't. Thanos left here with out his daughter. That's not a coincidence." "Yeah." Clint shrugs. "Whatever it takes." I say to myself. "Whatever it takes." Clint replies I stand up and walk over to Clint. "If we don't get this stone. Millions will stay dead." "I guess we know who it's gotta be."Clint says. "Guess we do." I reply knowing it has to be me, it will be me, I'm not letting Clint do this.

Clint grabs my hand. "I'm starting to think, we've been different people here, Natasha." I grab his hand back. "For the last 5 years I've been trying to one thing get to right here. That's all it's been about. Bringing everyone back." Clint smiles. "Oh, don't you get all decent on me now." I smirk. "What, you think I wanna do it? I trying to save your life, you idiot."

"Yeah well, I don't want you to. Because I...Natasha, you know what I've done. You know what I've become." I pat Clint's shoulder. "Well I don't judge people on their worst mistakes." "Maybe you should." Clint says holding back a tear. "You didn't." I smile faintly. "Your a pain in my ass, you know that?" Clint replies. Clint and lean our foreheads together. "Okay you win." He says, and knocks me on the ground.

"Tell my family I love them." Clint says. I tackle him to the ground. "You tell them yourself." I electrocute him and run towards the cliff. I'm almost there when Clint shoots an explosive arrow I fall down. I see Clint throw his bow and run towards the cliff he jumps off. I run after him and hook us to the wall. "Damn you!" Clint says.

"Let me go." I say. Clint flips us around so he's on the bottom. "Clint, let me go, it's okay." I say trying to get off the position he's pinned me in. "No, let me go, I deserve this more than you, I've killed a lot of people." Clint begs. "I have to. I got red in my ledger." I say trying to jump. "Nat...you deserve to live. You deserve to see Bucky again." He says. "You deserve to see your family." "Nat...I want this for you. I want you to have a second chance with everyone. I've always wanted that for you." Clint starts to push off the wall. "And you should know this would happen cause I never miss." He winks and smiles at me. "I love you." He says. "Please no.." I try to grab him. He kicks the wall and falls down. "No Clint! No!" I scream. I see a boom in the sky.

I wake up in a pool of water with the soul stone. I start to sob.

I'm so sorry I killed Clint I didn't want to kill either of them 😭😭😭
But this is BuckyNat and Natasha is my favorite character I'm not going to kill her, but I love Clint and I don't want him to die either😭
