As I came to, I heard voices around me arguing. I hadn't opened my eyes yet, so I decided to just listen and see what they were arguing about.

"You really had to take her out with CHLOROFORM?!?!" That voice sounded familiar. "It's not like she would just come with us!" That one too. "Well you two seemed pretty flirty, I bet she would've if you had just fuCKING ASKED HER, YOU PSYCHOPATH!" "Can one of you please just explain why you were carrying a random teenage girl in here this late at night?!" Not that one.

I fluttered my eyes open and groaned. "Yeah, I would like to know that as well," I said, attempting to bring my hand up to hold my aching head, but realizing they were tied behind me. I blinked a few times and looked at the people around me. There was Klaus and Five, but then more adults that I didn't recognize. "When were you born?" Five steps forward and says immediately. "Jesus, don't waste time, do you?" A tall guy with a long scar on the side of his head mutters. "I'm 15, if that's what you mean," I respond to Fives question. "When. Were. You. Born." He repeats slowly. "Fine, damn. October 1st, 2005" I said, turning my attention to where we were. (A/N: I kinda said a random year, I don't really care if the math lines up or whatever lmfao)

"That's impossible," Five mutters, standing up and pacing the fancy living room we were in. I notice a huge painting of him above a fireplace and scoff. "Then how did you make the donuts float?" Klaus says, seemingly to himself as he stares at a wall. I snap my head towards him. Five notices and stops pacing. The rest of the people I don't know look at me as well. "What did you say?" I gulp. Klaus turns to me. "You made donuts float earlier. Did you not notice?" He asks and glances up at Five. "I have to go right now, I can't be here-" I try to stand up, but it's no use with the rope holding me to the chair I'm in. Five rushes back to me.

"October 1st, 1989. We were all born that day on the exact same hour, and all of our mothers weren't pregnant that morning. We are the Umbrella Academy," He says so quickly I almost miss it. I blink and look back at all of them, realizing how familiar they look. "Oh yeah. My mom showed me photos of you guys when you were kids," I laugh to myself for a second. I start pointing them all out. "So you must be Diego, Luther, Allison, and Vanya. Oh and obviously you two, Klaus and Five," I look at them all as I say their names, each of them nodding when I say the correct one. I look at the last guy sitting by Klaus in all black. "Oh, and Ben," I finish.

Once I say that, he freezes and widens his eyes, along with everyone else. "You- You can see him?" Klaus says slowly, standing up and walking closer to me. "Yeah, can't you-" I stop mid question and realize what he means. "You can see ghosts..." Klaus whispers, yet everyone still hears him. "Okay first you can make things float, now you can see dead people?!" Five gets even closer to me. "Carolyn, I need you to explain to us right now. How can you do these things?" He asks, but its more of a demand. "First of all, my name is Caroline, not Carolyn. Second...okay fine, but untie me," I give in. Almost as soon as the words leave my lips, Five is up and untying the ropes binding me to the chair. Once my hands are released I bring them back in front of me and rub my wrists.

"Alright. Now, explain," Five sits down on the couch and everyone turns their attention to me. "Um, okay, well. My mom was one of the children born that day who Mr. Hargreeves didn't adopt. She has a power of telekinesis. When I was born on the same day and hour as she was. they passed down to me," I explained, avoiding specific details. They all stared at me. "That's it?" Luther said. I nodded. Diego chuckled and threw a knife at the wall. "What about seeing dead people?" Vanya asks me. I cough nervously and adjust my hoodie. Five leans forward. "I, uh, I don't know," I lie and stand up. "Okay, well, I have to be going now. It's 3am and my parents are probably worried sick," I laugh awkwardly and walk past them, seeing where the front door is. Before I walk out the door I glance back and see them all whispering with each other. Five looks up and makes eye contact with me. I give him a small smile before walking outside.
