A/N: He could literally stab me and I would be the one to apologize. Jesus did a damn good job making that one *phew*. Okay on with the story aha

Five stared at me for a moment, then stepped backwards away from me. "I'm sorry, what?" He shook his head in disbelief. I opened my mouth to repeat what I had said but he held his finger up to stop me from speaking. "So that makes you..." He trails off, looking me up and down. "Technically, I'm part de-" I started before he cut me off. "Prove it" He states. My eyes widen and I immediately shake my head. "No no no no no, I can't," I say quickly. He sighs in annoyance before taking a fast stride towards me, wrapping an arm around my waist, and pulling me through one of his portal things.

I look around to find that we're in a bedroom. There's a twin bed pushed against the wall, which has equations written in white chalk all over it around the whole room. A desk is also present, with books and papers scattered across it. Five removes his arm from my waist, which I surprisingly find myself missing, and takes a seat in a dark blue chair near the window. "Now that we aren't in public, you have no excuse," He smirks, crossing his arms. "First of all, I was the only one working and Agnes will kill me if she finds out I left without an excuse. Second, I don't know where we are. Third, My dad made me promise to not do anything extraordinary. And Fourth-" "If we're going to be friends, I have to know what you can do. We're in my room at the academy," He cuts me off again, but this time I stand there shocked. Friends? Huh. He didn't strike me as that type.

I think for a minute before I respond. "Fine, but promise you won't freak out," I cave in. He scoffs at the thought of him, of all people, "freaking out" but nods in agreement. I take a deep breath and turn around, closing my eyes. I feel my black horns begin to protrude from my temples, along with a wave being washed over me, making my skin a deep red color. I bring my hands down my hair, changing from it's usual curly ginger to a wavy jet black. I can practically feel my blue eyes turning red. Once I'm situated in my new form, I open my eyes. I slowly turn around to face Five. I'm scared to meet his eyes, but when I do, they look...the same?

I stand there awkwardly. "I know theres more you can do as a demon than just look the part," He smirks. I blush, thankful it isn't noticeable due to my red skin. "Mediumship, Fear inducement, Pain inducement, Fire manipulation, Nightmare manipulation, Enhanced bite, and...uh," I hold up my hands and point at my enhanced claws. "Impressive," He raises an eyebrow. He opens his mouth to speak again when the door suddenly opens. "Hey, do you know-" Klaus starts but looks up and notices me. His face pales and he lets out the biggest scream I have ever heard in my life. Five jumps up from his chair and stands in front of me, shielding me from the vision of the other siblings as they come running. "DEVIL! DEVIL! OH MY GOD I CAN SEE THE DEVIL TOO" Klaus is screaming repeatedly.

~Time skip like 15 Minutes~

We're all in the living room, with Klaus across from me still in silent shock. Ben is next to him, seemingly taking a nap, while the others are arguing. "YOU FOUND OUT SHE WAS A DEMON AND DIDN'T TELL US?" Luther screamed. "I KNEW FOR EIGHT MINUTES" Five retaliated as he made a margarita. "SHE HAS HORNS, FIVE! HORNS!" Diego was throwing knives rather aggressively at the wall. I had since returned to my normal form, but the others had already seen me and the image was branded in their memories. Vanya was sitting next to me, not exactly phased by what had happened. If anything, she was more prepared to comfort me since she knew what it was like to have Luther and Diego be pissed at her.

"Guys, can we all just calm down?" Allison said, rubbing her temples at the noise. Grace walked in the room smiling, with cookies in hand. "You all sounded upset, so I made cookies," She stood next to Diego, who had paused on his knife throwing. "YOU PROBABLY-oh thanks mom-WEREN'T EVEN GONNA TELL US!" Diego paused mid rant and graciously accepted a cookie off of Grace's tray. Luther had paused too, but his reason was to glare at me. I had my arm propped up on the arm rest of the couch, with my head in my hand. The quickness of me having to change to and from had really tired me out. Vanya noticed and looked at me. "Here, come with me, you can take a nap in my room. I have some of my old clothes from when I was a kid that you can change into," She offered and stood up. I nodded, yawning, and stood up too. Five looked up at my movement and spacial jumped over to me and Vanya.

"Get her your clothes. She can sleep in my room," He said. I stumbled a bit due to my exhaustion and he propped his arm around me to keep me up. "You're gonna let her stay?" Luther yelled at Five. "Go get your back hair shaved, Luther," Five shot back, helping me to the stairs. "I'm sorry I'm so tired, It's just been...a while since I changed like that," I mumbled an apology to Five. "It's alright, don't apologize," He reassured me. I nearly fell after going up three steps, even with his help. "Shit. Okay, I'm gonna jump us to my room, alright?" He asked me. I nodded in response, too tired to speak. He put his other arm under my legs, picking me up in a bridal position. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck for support, pressing my cheek against his shoulder. I felt a whoosh as he jumped us into his room. Not long after, Vanya came in and put some clothes on the desk for me.

Five thanked her and kicked the door closed after she left. He set me back on my feet. "I'm gonna turn around so you can change, okay?" He said, carefully letting me go so I didn't fall. I nodded in response. He turned around and I managed to get enough strength together to change out of my Griddy's uniform and into the pajama pants and tank top Vanya had brought me. "You can turn," I said, letting Five know I was dressed. I draped my uniform over the desk chair. I went to walk to the bed, but stumbled and almost fell. I probably would've if Five hadn't stepped forward quickly and caught me. "If I didn't know better, I would've assumed you were drunk," Five joked. "It's a side effect of changing too quickly," I giggled.

He helped me into bed and draped the covers over me. "Alright, I'm going to go defuse the situation in the living room," He gave me a small smile and turned, going to leave. "Wait. Can you stay with me?" I stopped him. He froze and turned back to look at me. "Please?" I gave him puppy dog eyes and pouted. He sighed before kicking his shoes off and shedding his blazer. He picked the covers back up and got in bed next to me. I scooted over closer to the wall, still facing him. "There. Now sleep," He said. I giggled and closed my eyes. I moved a closer to him, nestling my head in his chest, trying to get warmer. He stiffened for a moment, then relaxed and put his arm around my waist.

I instantly felt safe, falling into a deep sleep, content.
