Another song one! I think I'm a little too obsessed with using songs as writing prompts, but it's FINE lmao.

Warning: two geniuses acting like fucking idiots

Third Person P.O.V

"I can't believe you're not realizing how idiotic that was." The sorcerer groaned.

The billionaire in front of him rolled his eyes, "How was that 'idiotic', huh?"

Stephen sighed in exasperation, waving his arms frantically, "Because you could've died!"

"But I didn't!"

Baby, when I'm yellin' at you,
It's not your fault, it's not your fault, yeah.

Strange laughed sarcastically, "Oh, you're right. That totally excuses the fact that you got yourself stabbed."

Tony dragged a hand down his face, "Who just saved your magical ass? I got stabbed because I was protecting you."

Baby 'cause I'm crazy for you,
It's not your fault, it's not your fault, yeah.

"I would've been fine, I know how to fix stab wounds!" Stephen exclaimed.

"Yeah, and I was fine, because you know how to fix stab wounds!" Tony contradicted.

The taller man paced back and forth, "Why did you do it?"

Stark shrugged, "I don't know, instincts I guess."

Maybe I'm a little confused,
It's not your fault, it's not your fault, yeah.

"That doesn't make any since, Stark." Strange grumbled.

Tony ignored the comment and went on, "The point is, I'm alright, you're alright. So we're good."

Stephen pinched the bridge of his nose, "At least there's that."

Baby it's wonderful news,
It's not your fault, it's not your fault, yeah.

"You're still an idiot, you know that?" Stephen snarled.

Tony raised his hands in mock surrender, "I don't even care at this point. The city is safe, we're safe, that's what matters."

Oh, it's not that you should care,
I just wanted you to know.

The sorcerer shook his head, "You don't know how to follow instructions. There was a way that this could've been avoided, but you messed that up."

Tony clenched his fist, "Now you're sounding like Rogers." He whispered.

But Stephen heard it. And that was the worse thing he's ever heard in his life. The one person he hated most was Captain America, so being compared to him was something that got his blood boiling.

"Don't you ever compare me to him again. What you did was stupid, and now I'm starting to question how you've gotten the title of being a genius. Just because your old man was, doesn't mean you are too." Strange shot back.

Stephen knew he was crossing a line by bringing Tony's father into this, but he was too angry to care.

Tony's body began to shake in anger and he had to take deep breaths to calm down. Tony closed his eyes and took one last deep breath, in and out, before opening his eyes and speaking again.

"I'm leaving."

That was all that was said before Stark turned on his heel and took a step to leave. He didn't get far before the cloak of levitation wrapped one of it's ends around Tony's arm, preventing him from moving any further.
