As terrible as it sounds I kept meeting up with Amelia. Even though she was dating my best friend I loved her.

One time I bumped into Minho in the hallway and after chatting for a bit he lastly said as he was smiling "I'm thankful for having you as my best friend. When I wasn't around you were hanging out with Amelia and became friends with her." Then he patted my shoulder and left afterwards.

He knew that we were hanging out but he didn't know that it was a forbidden relationship. He didn't know that his girlfriend was cheating on him with his best friend.

I kept quiet and didn't say anything.

Weeks passed by and I didn't see Amelia as much as I did before. She was avoiding me to be with Minho.

I decided to go to the music hall to see if she was there and I was right.

She was playing the piano beautifully. I loved looking at her as she did something she loved.

I sat down in the first row. She didn't notice me so she kept going on.

It wasn't the first time that I saw her play without hiding so it was an amazing feeling to watch her without being cautious.

I wished I could hold her hands that were placed gently on the piano keys but I didn't want to scare her off. I didn't want her to flutter her wings and fly away from me like a butterfly.

I stayed there waiting for her to notice my presence. She finally did when she finished.

I clapped my hands and it startled her. Her head snapped at my direction and she closed her eyes as she placed her hand over her left chest.

She opened her eyes and packed her things without saying a word. I expected her to at least say 'You startled me.' Or 'You should've told me that you were here.' Or something similar to those sentences but she didn't.

It was obvious she was avoiding me. After she grabbed her things and walked down the stage leaving. I stopped her by standing in front of her to block her way.

"Why are you avoiding me? You aren't answering my calls or even texts." I said. "It's because I don't want to see you now." She answered honestly as she looked behind me avoiding eye contact.

"And why is that?" I asked as I raised my eyebrow. "Because Minho will find out that I'm cheating on him." She answered as she looked into my eyes.

"Then why don't you break up with him? Or me?" I asked. "Because I love you. Just wait until the time is right then I'll call it quits with him. Please be patient."

"Be patient? Amelia, we've been dating for 4 months and every time I bring up this topic you say be patient. I've been patient for 4 long months." I told her.

"Just wait a little bit longer. For me. Just this time." She begged. I stayed quiet for a few seconds and then she hugged me. She looked up at me as she hugged me. She used her puppy eyes that I fell for every time and pouted.

I sighed heavily then said "Fine. I'll wait. I'm doing this for you." She smiled beautifully then got on her tiptoes to kiss me. I leaned towards her half way and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

"I love you." She said. "I love you more Amelia." and I think I really did. More than I was supposed to.
