Chapter 16

Drive to the Plaza in Julian’s Car
Y/N POV

    “So you going to call her?” “Huh?” I said totally clueless about what he is talking about. He laughed and said “Alessia are you planning on calling her again cause from what I could make up from your last conversation in the car you hanged up on her while she was talking.” I sighed and said “Dude she was making me anxious. If I continued on talking too her I would’ve had a panic attack or smt. Either way I’ll call her tomorrow. I should let her cool down you know.” He turned his head to me surprised and said “For you to actually know what to do with a girl. I thought I’d never see this day coming.” “Oh fuck you Julian and keep your eyes on the road man. I’m too young to die in a car accident.” I looked at the GPS screen in the car and it says we will reach the Plaza in 10 minutes. “Dude I am planning to hang out with Billie and Finneas for the night do you wanna come with?” I asked him. “Yeah sure. Where are we going?” he said still keeping his eyes on the road. “Well I am thinking going to the Empire state building and then to Central Park but that’s obviously after we go home to put all their shit there and change into warm clothes” “Won’t the they be closed at this hour?” “Nah man they are open till like 2AM I think.” “Cool.” We reached the plaza in a couple of minutes and Julian parked the car and we went to the Plaza. I saw Billie and Finn seating on the couches near the reception. Billie saw me and started running towards me and gave me a bear hug and I just melted into it. This is probably the highlight of my week. I accidentally said “I missed you.”  “I missed you too.” She said. After a while I Finneas clear his throat and we broke up the hug fast and I said “Hey man” and I bro hugged him.

    After everyone exchanged greetings we went to the car and me being the gentleman I am offered to hold Billie’s luggage which was just a small suitcase. “Well well well being a gentle man now are we.” “Only for you Billie.” I saw her blush. Wait did I make her blush. Was I smooth. Wait I am not supposed to be smooth I am supposed to be awkward. Why do they call it being smooth though I mean I-“Y/N!” “Huh? Sorry Billie. I have ADD.” I said embarrassed. “It’s ok dude and btw yes here you can carry my stuff” she said and handed me her luggage. “Aren’t you gonna carry mine too?” said Finn “Sure man give em to me.” “No Finn can carry his own stuff. You are my gentleman not his.” Said Billie. We reached the car and put the luggage in the trunk. I was going to sit in the front but Billie insisted that I sit with her in the back. I tried to argue but you can’t say no to those ocean eyes of hers. So Finn sat in front while Julian was our driver. I looked at the GPS screen in the front. It says we are 20 minutes away from home so I decided to take a nap. I put my feet up and my head on Billie’s lap. She seemed surprised at first but after a moment she started playing with my hair. “Y/N get your legs down from the seats” “Yeah yeah imma take a nap wake me up when we get home ok mamas.” I accidentally called her mamas but I decided to shrug it off and get myself comfortable. “Ok babe.” She said. I smiled and tried to concentrate on her fingers playing with my hair and after a couple of moments I was asleep.
Billie’s POV

    “Ok I am really confused rn” said Julian. Finn laughed and said “You’ll get used to it.” “Ok I have two questions. One why do you two seem that you are in a relationship and two and the most peculiar how the fuck did you manage to make him sleep with no sleeping pills?” asked Julian. “Well one idk either I mean we always call each other like that and two I guess he eases up when he is around me and manages to sleep. Even when he stayed over that one night he slept quite peacefully.” “Damn you know how much sleeping pills he has to take to sleep that fast and who the hell knew that you can just calm him down by just being around him.” “Idk isn’t he like this with you guys?” I said still playing with his hair. “Nope. We knew him since he got into this country and every single he has to pop a pill to sleep. Even when he is with Alessia he has to pop a couple so that he can have a simple nap without nightmares.” “I didn’t know that.” I’m glad he is comfortable around me this much. “Did he ask her out btw?” I asked Julian “Yeah he did.” I was kinda disappointed. Well I should’ve seen it coming I basically told him to do that. After a couple of minutes, we arrived at Julian’s house and damn it looked fancy. The gates opened and Julian got in and stopped the car in front of the garage door.

    I looked at Y/N peacefully sleeping on my lap. I slightly moved my leg enough to wake him up but not to scare him. “Huh? *Yawns* Are we home mamas?” he said after seating upright while rubbing his eyes. “Yeah babe come on let’s get out.” We all got out and a couple of maids came out of the house and carried our stuff inside. The perks of having maids. We all went inside damn this place is spacious af. “How much did it cost you to get this place Julian?” He closed the door behind him and said “Quite a lot but it was worth it. Ok Billie your room the one next to Y/N and Finn yours is the one next to that. You should go change now so that we can come back home early. Also wear something warm it gets really cold here at night.” “Ok guys come follow me” said Y/N and he lead us to our rooms.

In the car heading to the Empire State Building
Billie’s POV

    “So guys how is it living here” asked Finn in the front seat. “It’s a hustle” said Julian “How so?” “There are A LOT of people and there are always on the move including you. It’s work work work here is the city and Y/N loves it here” said Julian. “Hell yeah I do. It’s not my fault that I am a workaholic.” He replied with his head on my lap. “Then whose fault is it?” Y/N didn’t reply to that question. After half an hour of traffic, blowing horn and hurling insults we reached the Empire State Building. I was excited because I heard it has the best view of the city from the top. We parked at the parking area and all of us got out. We got in and went to the second floor to get the tickets. I was about to pay when Y/N bear me to it and paid for all of us. “I was gonna pay.” “Your gentleman, remember.” He said to me with a smile. I can feel a blush creeping on my cheeks. I put my hoodie on so that he doesn’t see that. I know I hate when people smile at me but his smile is just……. you know I can’t explain it but you know what I am talking about. We went up to the museums and the guide threw some Empire State facts our way. It was really fun and all. After a while we finally got to the top of the Empire State Building and oh boi the view from here was beautiful and just breathtaking (The picture above). I was so taken away by the view that I didn’t notice a hand creeping to my shoulders. “BAHHHHHHHH!” I jumped I away out of fright. I tuned to see Y/N rolling on the ground holding his stomach laughing like there is no tomorrow. “Dude what the fuck is wrong with you scared the shit out of me.” I said angrily. But he continued laughing. I tried to stay composed but in the end I started laughing at my reaction. “Dude who the fuck screams like that. Oh my god.” He said. He got up and turned to Finn and said “You dude did you get that?” “Yeah man it’s all live on Instagram.” He replied trying to control his laughter. Julian was standing next to him trying to remain composed but he too started laughing in the end. “Ok stop filming” I said a covered the camera.

    “Holy shit guys it’s Billie Eilish” said someone from behind. Shit. I turned to the guys and we looked at each other and the only word that was in our minds was “Run” and run we did. We took off and managed to get to the car. “Drive Julian!!!” said Y/N and we hit the road after we managed to steer clear of the fans we all broke down into a fit of laughter. “Oh my God who thought running away from your fans will be this fun.” said Finn. Damn it hasn’t even 24hrs since I came to NYC and I am having more fun than I did in a long time. “Ok guys lets head to our next destination.” Said Y/N as he made himself comfortable again. “To central park” said Julian as he stepped on it. After a couple more minutes of shitty NYC traffic we arrived at the park and sadly it was closed. Some rich woman rented the whole thing for an event. I mean can you even do that? “Well some other time then” (More like some other chapter). Either way we headed home. I mean the day wasn’t disappointing actually it was far from it. “Day 1 and it’s this fun. Imagine how much fun I am gonna have with the guys”
