At present time,

“You do remember during our childhood days when we were looking outside of the window watching the few flakes of snow….”

Peter continued “Wishing the world to thaw, having hope in things, talked about the history of our place and more.”

“That is correct Peter,” said Ginny “It’s been years since that have happened and I still do not change my perspective that one day, this world will thaw and we will live again.”

“I agree. Now we are teen agers and the kids who once joined us creating an impression of an angel still have their hopes inside them” added Peter. He paused for a while at the time and continued “Yet,”

“Yet what?”

“Yet the thoughts are still on me. The plant that suddenly showed itself besides the land’s bonfire seems suspicious and yet the bonfire is being surrounded by these same plants” Peter answered.

In confusion, Ginny asked Peter what the man meant to say and so he answered in return “These plants won’t grow. They only multiply. People in our land began to suggest that the bonfire every night must be stopped so that the plants won’t get burned. The plants are suspicious as they are. They only multiply and not grow and they never change as well. These are supposed to be dead for they cannot survive this winter for years” at this time, Ginny interrupted her friend saying,

“There are some kinds of plants that can clearly survive in such weather,”

“No water, no food, no enough sunlight?”

“You seem to be thinking of something.”

“I do Ginny” then Peter turned and looked at their window “It’s so nice to look out the window seeing people who are have their hopes and dreams with them but if are deceived again, Winterfrost will fall worse than what happened in our history.”

Peter stopped at the moment when he noticed that Ginny is not giving any replies to what he just said so he asked his friend if there is something wrong.

“I….. (in a scared voice) I did see something Peter” she said.

                “Seen? Seen what?”

“All that you have said about our land being deceived once again might be really true.”

“It seems that you know of something Ginny” said he.

Ginny was so frightened at the time but she still managed to tell Peter about what she saw “I had a dream that a miraculous event or thing will come to our land. It will deceive us and will perish us. The years will be of famine, storms, death, desolation and despair to all of us. The dream was just short but it clearly stated that a young person would try to defy this deception however many people would go against him  yet he has his faith and courage in him until a day will come that he will their trust and the deception will turn into an anticipation, hope.” She took a quick pause and looked at Peter’s eyes saying “And I think that that the person I saw in my dream was you. You will lead us and you will help us to anticipate and hope again” said she.

“But why you seem to be scared at all?” asked Peter.

“Due to the fact of this deception has come again to Winterfrost and it is worse than we ever thought. We are to be tested in our faith and many will be deceived. They will believe what they have seen rather than what they feel. I am scared that desolation will come again to our land” Ginny answered.

Peter approached his friend and comforted her, embraced her a bit and cheered her up “Faith and fear cannot be together Ginny. Listen, if you have faith, you must not have fear for if you are afraid on things then your faith is weak. Let your faith overcome your fears. With Him, you are unstoppable, you are strong and you will have courage and bravery in your life. Fear corrupts us, faith keeps us alive. Do not be afraid Ginny, remember that we are not alone and we will never be alone. I will also be here for you no matter what, as long as I can and will never leave your side.” Ginny looked at him with some tears in his eyes but he continued “That’s a promise” then both shared an emotional embrace.

                At night, Ginny rested but then she had a dream again. In her dream, she is likely just a viewer and not belonged to the scene itself. It is like watching a movie wherein everything is real but you are not there. Well, the situation is like this: there are new plants that started to grow all across the land of Winterfrost. Please be reminded that this is a different plant from what they believe that will deceive them all. The plant started to grow outside’s Ginny’s home and it began to scatter all around the land. It may seem impossible but this is a dream and so these plants began to grow bigger until they became trees. Ginny saw the leaves started to show in the said trees. They are growing and blooming and there are also flowers began to show. In addition, there are birds started to land in the branches and they began to sing. A song in which Ginny really was amazed of and really was sweet to her ears;

In the midst of this snow,

Trees will begin to grow,

                Where the birds will sing

                Faith they will bring

                Desolated because of the curse

But nothing can be hers

For our faith is strong

And nothing can be wrong

This world will soon thaw

And in a new world we will go

Though the words were not really as quite clear as it was sung, the words are clear to be heard by Ginny but I cannot certainly say for sure if the people in her dreams heard the song as well. Ginny thought to herself that the song means like there are newer things to come like the old has gone and the new has come which is clearly means a new creation. In her dreams, she is likely conscious on what is happening around her it was like a real event happening to her. In addition, she also has a different character, a much better than the Ginny we know for there, she is noble, calm, sweet, patient, full of life and dreams.

During the song, the place was full of life. At first, the whole place is surrounded with ice, snow and there was no life until the birds began to sing with life and to be much clearer, there was a strong yet calm and sweet voice not coming from the birds that spoke the words of the said song. As the song was sung, the winter and snow began to thaw; trees began to grow; leaves showed themselves; the people became alive again. The song showed hope coming from the said creatures and the sweet voice as well. The winter died and the sunshine showed itself again while the people became alive and well once more. Life has come to that said place and it was like paradise (or a place you would really like, a sweet, calm, peaceful, lovely and a world that is truly alive.

Ginny thought that that very moment was likely her best day until she said and whispered to herself “cursed” after which, she found herself awakened and the morning has come. “It was just all a dream.”
