The month of June came and Ginny’s birthday is coming as well but depression is what she has at present for Peter is not merely having time for her due to his personal activity. Ginny wonders what happened to her friend and even asks Mrs. Philipps about her son’s condition but her response is always “He needs time” and that makes Ginny even more confused. This situation of hers did not stop her to pursue her plans. She then started to plan something for her upcoming birthday and would like to inspire more people. She believe that after decades of no Christmas season in Winterfrost made them more vulnerable and weak both physically and spiritually. Prayers she has for a couple of days until a week before her birthday, she went to the Central Bonfire and saw a small poster with the message:
It is always winter but Christmas never comes
It seems that this curse just cannot be lifted
Yet in the midst of all this curse of ice and snow
Our hearts will stay warm because they are filled with hope
“Do not lose hope and never give in Winterfrost!”
Signed: Peter Philipps (with his signature on the top of his name).
Ginny thought of visiting her friend but she remembers what her mother told her about looking for him so she went home and told her parents on what she saw. The poster caught the attention of many people of Winterfrost including Master Dawn. As the master saw this, he then ordered his men to look for Peter and bring the young man to him. After an hour, Peter was visited by three men of the master and asked him to come with them. At first Peter did not respond even with an action but then after their second attempt, Peter nodded (he is not facing them for he is in his room staring at his windows) then he stood up and joined them with his mother (before I continue, Peter and his mother were surprised by the arriving of the said men but they decided to come with them calmly for both know that there is a good reason for them being called by Master Dawn). It was afternoon when they were both escorted to the master’s house. As they reached the said place, they were both welcomed by Master Dawn and his men. There they had their supper altogether but after that, (as they entered the master’s house, they were all quiet until) Master Dawn spoke up and began their conversation about his means of calling Peter and his mother.
The master stood up and began “Welcome Peter, son of Williamson and Lizbeth and welcome my dear Lizbeth, mother of Peter and wife of Williamson (both stood up as their names were called). You are both here for something that I need to ask, a favor.”
“A favor?” Peter interrupted.
“You have my word” continued the king “A favor for a favor.”
“We’re listening” said Peter though his mother is a little hesitant, Peter still took the lead.
Master Dawn continued with his words for hi visitors “I have seen your message that you have put at the Central Bonfire. It gives hope to people. Though simple and little words, yet you inspire us. This gives me the idea of you having something from me.”
“And that is?”
“The complete and the only one remaining copy of your great grandfather’s written song” he answered calmly.
“The what?” both asked.
“’You change the world’ as what he called the song. This book also consists of some of his notes about the ravaging wintry temperature that was put on their place. I want you to have this book of his for I know that you will find this instructive and useful these troubled days” and so the master handed the book to Peter but he warned him “this should only be between the three of us. None, even your great friend must know of this.”
“Why? May I ask?” Lizbeth asked.
“This is for the possible outcome that people might ravage again due to the fact this inspirational work has been kept for years, decades as a matter of fact” then he looked at Peter and asked him “before we show this, I want you to study your great grandfather’s work and fix those flaws that you may see. I want you to improve his writings and do more than you can. I know that you can make his work better.”
“I am not sure” Peter said as Master Dawn handed the book to him.
“I believe in you young warrior as your mother believes in you, as young Ginny believes in you, as The Alpha and the Omega” believes in you.” Peter smiled to the master and to his mother and so Master Dawn let them stay for a night in his own house so that Peter can begin peacefully in the coming day. At first, Peter decided to start working during night but his mother told him that he needs rest for him to have better ideas and much more peaceful mind. Peter would like to refuse but then he obediently followed his mother as he thought that what she said is right. Both rested and so morning came.
Reading the given book was the first thing that Peter did. He meditated with it and noted some important words. After reading for about 2 hours, he was called by his mother and both had their breakfast. Determination as it is and this caused Peter to read more than hundred pages of the book and also written almost 50 pages of notes. A week has passed and his mother saw an improvement to him. Peter exerted focus and time for that book and the mission that Master Dawn has given to him. Due to both reasons, Peter missed to have enough time with his best friend Ginny and even missed to celebrate his own birthday. A year after he started his mission, he finally finished writing the edited and enhanced version of his great grandfather’s book. He then showed the finished product to his mother first and her reaction was like she was surprised and proud of what her son has achieved so they showed this to Master Dawn as well and the only response they had was “wise” and so together with the new book and the so called “The Book of all Books” are in the same place, Master Dawn has told the change that they will have during their night fire gathering which is the same day of Ginny’s birthday.
