6) Tour

Around 2 weeks had gone by since everything had happened. The press had still not found out about who Althea was and they had no new information on her. Eve had gone on her second date with Ethan and they regularly spoke. Everything had basically gone back to normal, that was until Althea received a text.

Hello Althea, this is Rick, JJ's manager.
After you joined us on stage 2 weeks ago,
the press has been
going crazy for the performance
you were involved in.
We were wondering if you'd be
interested in joining
our team for the rest of the tour?
You would be paid and
all traveling expenses will be paid for.
If you could let us know your
answer by tomorrow and i'll send over
some more information.

Althea stared at her phone in shock, her mouth hanging open as she read the text message. Never did she expect to have performed on stage with someone relatively famous, never mind being offered to join their tour. She was currently in band practise when she blurted out "I have to go". The band all looked at her confusedly as she quickly grabbed her belongings together. "See you tomorrow!" she called as she sprinted from the room.

"Eve!!" she screamed as she banged on the door to their apartment. She had her own set of keys but she was too hyperactive to even attempt getting them from her bag.

"What's wrong? Oh my gosh are you okay?" Eve said frantically as she swung open the door.

"I got a text from a manager!" she squealed as she ran into the apartment.

"A text? The way you were acting I thought the block was on fire" Eve let out a breath as she closed the door.

"No listen.... I've been asked to go on the rest of the tour with KSI!" Althea whispered back, still in shock. They both just looked at each other with no expression before screaming and jumping up and down together.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Eve yelled as she shook her friend. You could tell she was in shock as she hardly ever swore. "What did you say back?" she asked excitedly.

"I haven't replied yet" Althea replied.

Eve's eyes widened. "Reply now and tell them you'll do it" she edged her friend on.

Althea nodded and quickly got her phone out of her pocket, her hands shaking as she wrote a reply.
