It had been around two weeks since Althea was released from hospital. Right now, she was currently staying at her parents house in London. It had been decided, for her mental and physical health, Althea didn't preform for the rest of the tour. At first it had been a little bit of an issue for JJ's team, however they decided it was best to leave the song out of the tour.
Eve and Althea had also worked out their problems whilst she was at hospital. Eve had come rushing to her hospital after she had found out what happened. They talked for hours and Althea totally agreed with Eves point of view. After everything that happened with the tour and Althea's sudden opening of fame, she didn't realise how she had dragged Eve into it all. She had begged her to come on tour with her, despite the fact Eve had a job and uni lectures to turn up to. Eve had apologised for how she acted towards Althea and couldn't have been more sorry.
Living back with her mother was definitely a different scene for Althea. It was so heartwarming that she got to spend everyday with her mother, she had missed her dearly. She just wished her Dad would come home soon.
She was currently sat on the sofa at her childhood home, a blanket over her legs and a cup of tea in her hands. After everything that had happened, she had been instructed to simple just rest and take some time off. Despite Althea's protests, her mother was waiting on her hand and foot. She would often bring cups of tea to Althea out of the blue, just in hope for it to make her feel better. She was beyond grateful for her.
"Honey, the girls are here to see you" Althea's mother, Jane, said softly with a warm smile. Althea snapped out of her thoughts and look towards the door, smiling when she saw Katie and Freya stood next to her mother.
'Hey" She said softly as they walked into the room and sat on the sofa. She couldn't explain how blessed she was for Katie and Freya. They had visited her almost everyday since she had come home, just to check up on her and have a chat.
"Hey, how are you feeling today?" Katie asked softly as she took off her coat.
"I'm feeling fine today, but my mother insists I don't move from this sofa" Althea chuckled softly with a smile.
"Have you heard from JJ yet?" Freya asked curiously, leaning back on the sofa as she spoke.
Althea hadn't seen or spoke to JJ since the hospital. The second her Mother had arrived at the hospital, was the moment when JJ had left. Althea put the no text messages down to him being on tour, she knew how busy everyone was, she had experience that herself. However, she had no excuses for him not staying at the hospital. It did hurt her feelings, everyday she thought of him.
Althea shook her head. "Nope, he hasn't texted or anything" She mumbled with a sigh.
"Why don't you try texting him?" Katie suggested softly.
"Absolutely not!" Freya basically yelped before Althea had time to respond.
"What's wrong with that?" Katie asked in a confused voice, looking at freya as she spoke.
"Because the girl never texts the boy first" Freya replied in a matter of fact tone. "It's like the number one rule" she added.
Katie shook her head. "Freya you've been off the dating market for nine years, it doesn't work like that anymore" She joked. "Althea babe, text jj" She turned to Althea as she spoke.
Althea couldn't help but give a small chuckled at the both of them. "What do I even say?" She asked hesitantly as she picked up her phone. "I haven't spoke to him since the hospital".
"Just say hello and ask if anything is alright" Katie suggested.
"Yeah ask If he's okay, it's not like you were the one in hospital or anything" Freya mumbled sarcastically as she crossed her arms, she was really pissed off at JJ.
