"Wake up" // JJ

12) Paparazzi

"uhh.. who are they?" Althea mumbled to JJ as they walked towards a small restaurant in the middle of town. As they walked, two men were walking close by with cameras in their hands, the lenses being pointed at Althea and JJ. 

JJ looked at where she was gesturing too, taking his sunglasses off so he could get a better look. "They're paparazzi, just try and ignore them, most of the time they're harmless" JJ explained with a sigh, despite the fact he needed to be seen with Althea, he did hate paparazzi. "Theres probably going to be a few articles about us on tour, but just try and ignore what they say, most of them are bullshit" JJ added softly as he held open the restaurant door for her. 

"Great" Althea said sarcastically with a light chuckled. She had really made an effort for today, she was wearing a pair of denim shorts with a white off the shoulder blouse, she also wore a pair of white trainers. Her body was covered in tattoos, which the majority were on show today. 

"I forgot to say, you look really nice today" JJ complimented her as they walked towards a seat by the window, the sun shining down on the table. 

"Thank you" Althea blushed, keeping her head down as she sat down not for JJ to see her blushing.

"How did the date go!" Gee basically pounced on Althea as she walked through the door of her hotel room. 

"AHH!" Althea screamed when Gee popped out of nowhere. "Oh my gosh Gee, you're going to give me a heart attack one day" She chuckled as she breathed heavily from the sudden shock. All the girls were sat on the two beds, all currently getting ready for the gig tonight. 

"You didn't answer the question, how did it go?" Freya asked excitedly, looking up from her mirror as she spoke.

"It went really well" Althea blushed, hiding her face from embarrassment as she spoke, causing all the girls to squeal. "But, I really don't know what to do" She groaned after that had calmed down. 

"What do you mean?" Katie asked, a hint of confusing in her voice. 

"I'm beginning to really like him, but I'm scared because I've only ever got messed around by guys" Althea admitted as she slumped down on her bed next to Talia. "Plus, I have no idea if he even likes me.. what if it was a friend date?". 

"wait, wait, wait, don't even think about going down that road. JJ can be a womaniser sometimes, but we all know he doesn't do dates unless he really likes the person" Talia said in a serious tone, which is exactly what Althea needed, she needed to hear it straight. "I also know that if JJ genuinely likes you, which is obvious he does, he definitely wouldn't fuck you over, he's not like that" She added, her eyes not leaving Althea as she spoke. 

"Talia is right you know. JJ is definitely a fuck boy, however when he genuinely likes a girl he'll do everything he can to win her" Gee agreed as she continued to do her eyeshadow. 

Althea gave a small smile, she was incredibly grateful for these girls, they reminded her of how her and Eve used to be. "Thank you girls, you don't know how much I appreciate you all" Althea said softly as she looked around at them. 

"Awh, we appreciate you too, A" Katie said softly with a warm smile. She got off the bed she was sitting on and gently wrapped her arms around Althea.
