"Ow.. ow... OW Althea!" Eve mumbled, her voice getting louder every time her friend slapped her thigh in excitement.

"Eve, Ethan fucking Payne just liked my Instagram photo!" she squealed back excitedly as she jumped up and down in her seat. "Oh my gosh, I think I'm hyperventilating" she added dramatically.

"You're so over the top sometimes" her friend giggled as she shook her head.

A few moments later they arrived at their designated train platform. They made their way through security before pulling down a taxi to take them to the club.

"Look at the line to get in" Eve mumbled, she really didn't want to be at this concert. She would much rather be sat at home reading a book or studying for her next exam. "You totally owe me for this" she warned Althea in a playful manner. It was true, the line to get into the club was insanely long. They had originally planned to get there early to avoid waiting but they must have had the same plan as everyone else.

"You say that at every gig I drag you to" Althea giggled as they made their way to the end of the line. "However.. my feet are definitely going to be sore after tonight" she mumbled, looking down at the newly bought black wedges she was wearing.

"I told you that you should have wore them in before wearing them to a long event" eve replied in a matter-of-fact tone, however her voice was still playful, causing her friend to poke her tongue out at her.

-15 minutes later-

"I can't take waiting anymore.. come on eve, start a song with me" Althea whined, pulling on her friends sleeve. She thought for a while before smirking. "Bucket of water, Chuck it and splash. That's an old school wake up call, had to get up and dash" Althea started to rap, a huge smile on her face.

"Oh my gosh no, you said you would never start rapping out in public again" Eve whispered, trying to shush her friend. She actually though her friend was amazing with everything to do with music. However, she was insanely shy and hated any attention brought to them both.

Aletha smirked and continued to rap the whole of tobi's verse to 'wake up call'. Along as rapping she also started to dance a little, grabbing eve's arms to try and get her to dance too, earning some stares and smiles from people around them who were also waiting, a few even giving small claps when she was done. "You're looking at the next famous female rapper" she whispered to Eve, gently nudged their hips together.

Althea had always dreamed about being known for her music, she never wanted to be rich and famous but she did want people to listen to her music however. Music had been a big part of her life, she had struggled with a stutter and her speech impediment since a young age and rap had helped her to gain control of her voice again.

"Excuse me Miss" said a voice Althea and her friend were unfamiliar with. They both spun around to see a man stood before them. The man had brown curly hair, blue eyes and was dressed in casual clothes. The features that most stuck out were the ear piece in his right ear, along with the clipboard in his hand. "Could you come with me please?" He asked nicely, however you could sense the stress in his voice. "I work as a sound engineer for the club" he quickly added before walking passed the huge line of people and towards the main black doors.

Eve and Althea looked at each other confusedly before quickly following behind him. He led them through the club and towards the back stage. "I heard this girl rapping tobi's verse.. she was pretty good" Althea heard him mumbled to a man in a suit who was next to three other people, all looking stressed themselves.

The man in the suit nodded and walked towards Althea, worry starting to fill her stomach. Had she done something wrong?

The man looked kind, but for some reason men in suits always made Althea feel uneasy. He had his hair neatly styled and his green eyes became more prominent as he came closer. "I'm Olajide Olatunji's manager" he said with a smile as he offered his hand out for Althea to shake. "How would you like to be our replacement for Tobi Brown?"

Hello you lovely lot!
First of all, sorry for the chapters being a little short, I promise they'll get longer when I work out exactly how I want this story to go. For those wondering, I have also added the celebrity who I though was best fitting for Eve to the 'cast' chapter at the beginning of the book:)
