7) Emergency

"I can't believe they're making us get up this early" Eve basically cried as she put her coat on. 

It was currently 4AM and the girls were getting ready to leave their apartment. It had been around a week since Althea had received the text messages from JJ's manager, and they were about to leave for the tour. Althea had basically begged Rick to allow Eve to come for moral support, he was resilient at first but after her pleading he eventually agreed. 

"I know, isn't it exciting!" Althea squealed, she was basically bouncing as she spoke.  

The girls gathered their suitcases and made sure the apartment was alright before leaving. They headed downstairs and stood at the corner of their apartment block, this was where they were going to be picked up.

"Now don't forget, you just have to create a bond with the girl" Simon told JJ. They were both at the back of the tour bus that was about to pick up the two girls. "Make an effort to be in the public eye with her without making it suspicious, just try and be near paparazzi as much as you can with her" he added as he tried to get comfy on his seat. 

JJ nodded and let out a heavy sigh. "I still feel bad bro" he mumbled as he leaned his back against the window of the bus. 

"Don't be, you're not actually going to be in a relationship with the girl, you won't be leading her on or anything. You just need to be seen with her so the media can make up a lot of assumptions that could save your reputation" Simon explained for what seemed like the tenth time. 

JJ nodded again. "I suppose when you put it like that, hopefully we'll get on great so it won't be forced" he said hopefully. 

Before the conversation could continue, the coach stopped and their doors opened. Althea gingerly got onto the coach and looked around at all the staff members. She felt like she was getting on the school bus for the first time all over again. 

"Hey girls! Come and sit back here" JJ called from the back, holding up an arm so they could see where he was. 

Althea smiled before making her way to the back of the bus, the driver had kindly offered to put their luggage under the bus for them. She sat down on the row of seats infront of JJ and Eve sat on the row infront of Simon. "Thank you again for this opportunity, it honestly feels like a dream" she blurted out before anyone could speak. She cringed a little as she spoke, she had promised herself that she would not fangirl out on him. 

JJ let out one of his famous chuckles. "No worries at all, you're insanely talented and you should be recognised" he said cooly as he leaned back against his seat. 

Althea grinned. "Thank you" she said softly. "Oh, I hope you don't mind me asking, but how come Tobi isn't able to preform with you all?" she asked hesitantly, trying to start a conversation but also asking out of curiosity. 

"He had to have an emergency operation on his throat, he said something about his tonsils" He explained. "He won't be able to preform for at least a month or so" he added, a small hint of sadness in his voice.

The trip to Cardiff took around three hours due there being little traffic because of the time. It was agreed that everyone would have time to their self in the city before the gig tonight. 

"Do you want to go and look around? we could get some proper dinner" Eve suggested from her space on the bed. 

The hotel itself was five star rated, meaning their room was absolutely incredible. They both had a double bed to themselves along with a dressing table each. Their bathroom had a walk in shower along with a jacuzzi bath on the side. They also had a beautiful view of Cardiff from their balcony. 

"That sounds good, I'm starving" Althea whined as they only had a few snacks on the bus. "Should we ask JJ and Simon to come?" She asked hesitantly, unsure if it was the right thing to do. 

Eve hummed. "There's no harm in asking, they'll say no if they're busy" she said softly as she brushed her short hair.

Althea nodded as she grabbed her purse, the room key and her phone. "let's go before I waste away into oblivion from hunger" she joked as she headed to the door, Eve following behind her. 

"My gosh you're dramatic" she giggled. 

They both headed down the corridor towards the room JJ was staying in. However, they both paused when they heard all the commotion that was going on inside the room. Eve frowned before giving a small knock on the door, making it loud enough for the people inside to hear. Loud laughs and yells could be heard from inside the room and was filling part of the corridor. 

"I'll get it" someone chuckled from inside before the door flew open. 

"Eve!"

"Ethan?"
