-next morning-

Jungkook's POV:

As I was coming into the kitchen to get myself a glass of water after waking up, I noticed that there was a small note on the fridge. When I removed it from the fridge and began reading it, it wrote..

"I made some food for you earlier this morning and I've left them on the dining table under the food cover. I'm going to visit the kids at the orphanage today, so I'll be coming back later in the evening."

After reading it, a small smile crept up on my face.

jungkook: "This woman..."

I then went to the dining table and opened the cover to see a variety of simple dishes and a bowl of soup. 

I've gotta say, I'm quite impressed by her cooking skills.

Mr. Kang: "Sir, we have a car ready and waiting for you"

While I was scanning the food, Mr. Kang comes in and notifies me.

Then he sees all the food on the table and smiles.

Mr. Kang: "Did Miss y/n make all this food?"

He asks.

jungkook: "Tell the men that I'll be eating breakfast first, and then I'll be on my way"

I ordered, and he nods before leaving.

Then, I sat down at a chair and began eating the food that y/n cooked.

y/n's POV:

While I visited the orphanage, Angie has been sticking around me the whole time and asking me to read her books, to which I obliged to. I always enjoyed reading books for the children whenever I visited... but I wasn't really my self today, mainly due to last night.

Angie: "y/n unnie? Are you listening to me?" 

I was snapped back to reality by Angie when I realised that I was too lost in my thoughts

y/n: "Huh? O-oh, sorry about that!  What were you saying?"

I apologised to her and began paying close attention to her, but that only made her sigh.

Angie: "Nevermind."

She pouted and that made me feel even more sorry.

y/n: "Are you mad at me? You can tell me anything, I'll listen, I promise"

I promised her and kept apologising, but she turns away from me.

She's definitely mad at me...

???: "She wants you to hear her play a song on the piano that she's been practising hard on."

A familiar voice spoke.

As I turned my attention towards the voice, I saw Jungkook entering the room with bags full of snacks in them.

Angie: "Jungkook oppa!"

Angie immediately runs to jungkook and hugs him after he sets the bag of snacks down

He was smiling again...

When the children saw jungkook, they all ran to him in excitement. After that, he gave each a snack. Every time he's around children, his aura changes and that's something I've noticed.

Sunny: "You don't get to see this side of him much, do you?" 

Sunny comes to stand beside me as she watches the children smile and laugh around jungkook.
