We arrived at the gate of a locked off tunnel mine. I fished out the key from my bra and unlocked it.

"Hey how big is that dog?" Mal pointed at the 'Beware of the dog' sign under the huge 'Get Lost' sign.

I smirked at her, "Absolutely monstrous."

I pushed open the gate as she followed.

"Felice, I know this is really isn't my place and comforting is more of Evie's forté but I really think that you are too good for Harry. Harry was never one for commitment or emotions speaking as his ex and I know you. I know that- " Mal jumped as the sounds of barking echoed through underground tunnel.

"Come, come," I waved her over, " I appreciate what you trying to do but it echoes like crazy in here so keep your trap shut."

She nodded as I saw a glimmer of fear quickly flash over her eyes. I pulled up a two person bike onto the tracks and handed Mal her headlight and grabbed one for myself and placed it over my untamed curls. I hopped on the bike with Mal behind me as I lead her through the flashing tunnel. We quietly arrived at Hades' lair after 10 minutes of pedaling and her led her down the steps quietly and pointed at Hades sleeping sprawled out in his chair with the ember next to him on a table.

Mal nodded and we crept down the stairs slowly as the barking grew louder. Mal looked around confused and I gestured to a record player with a record on repeat right next to the steps. Mal rolled her eyes as I grinned cheekily. I pointed Mal behind a curtain where she can sneak up to him as I turned around to switch the annoying record off.

"What are you doing here?" Hades demanded softly not moving an inch as Mal crept behind him.

"Long time no see," I shrugged and approached his slowly , "I must say that you are look really good what have you been up to?"

Mal shot me a look of 'What the actual fuck is wrong with you' before she tried to grab the ember. Hades grabbed her hand before she even came in contact with it making Mal gasp in shock.

"The same as usual beautiful," he drawled.

He turned to Mal and took the ember out of her hand then placed his chin on his arm that was holding the ember.

"Hi daddy," Mal said quietly.

"Wait a second," I stared at the both of them in shock.

Hades flicked off his glasses and wiggled his fingers, " quite a show you put on the other day." He said ignoring me.

"Daddy?" I continued flabbergasted and eyeing the both of them confused.

Hades hummed and stood up, " I was just coming to see you," he continued ignoring me.

"Really? I wonder why," Mal responded.

"Don't fuck me up right now," I muttered to myself.

"Is it because I'm going to be queen?" Mal suggested.

"Mal, Mal don't be bitter," Hades laughed moved to check himself out in the mirror.

"You abandoned me when I was a baby," she crossed her arms.

"No no, I left your mother," he clenched his fist and said through his teeth, " she's not the easiest person to get along with."

" You think?" Mal retorted.

" Hmm you see we have that in common already," he said as he knocked his scarf and wrapped it around his neck, " we both hate your mother."

"No I don't hate my mother, she maybe an evil lunatic but at least she stuck around," she pointed a finger up to him.
