INT. – SCHOOL HALLWAY – THE NEXT DAY
Grayson and Abby are making out by the lockers. They break apart and Abby gives the evil eye to the other students who are walking past. Everyone seems to be wondering the same thing; since when was Grayson with Abby?
JAKE (17) swaggers up to them, completely oblivious to the fact that Grayson was with Lola yesterday and then with Abby today.
Jake
Hey, lovebirds. So my folks are away this
weekend and seeing there is going to be
a empty house I was thinkin' of having
a little par-tay. Wanna come?
Grayson
Sounds great man, what time?
Jake
Maybe eight. You can always come
earlier if you want though.
He raises his eyebrows at the couple. Abby rolls her eyes.
Abby
Stop it, Jake. We will definitely be there.
Jake
Cool! It's gonna be sick!
Jake wanders away. Grayson and Abby go back to making out.
Lola and Ebony are at the opposite end of the hall. A distraught Lola can't help but look at Grayson with Abby.
Lola
I knew I shouldn't have come today.
Ebony
Come on girl. If anything that should make
you angry. Right after he's done with you,
he is straight onto her. It is almost a good thing
that you are not with him anymore if he is going to
do stuff like that.
Lola
I know, I know. But it hurts so much. Like,
this time yesterday I thought we were good
and now there he is kissing another girl. I- I ...
It just really hurts.
She struggles to hold the tears back. She wipes them away with her sleeve.
Lola
Oh gosh, can we go somewhere? I really
don't want to embarrass myself.
Ebony
Yes of course. I have the perfect place.
She puts an arm around her friend and guides her away.
