"Cheryl!" Chase screamed, seeing the girl he still loved lying practically lifeless on the cold, tiled bathroom floor.

"Where the hell were you?!" He shoved her older cousin, causing him to move backwards with the wall catching his fall.

"She's been home alone all week. I came to check on her." The older boy, Benjamin, said as he pulled on his brown locks.

Lydia sat on the ground, Cheryl's head on her lap as she held the girl close to her chest.

"This wouldn't have fucking happened if I-" Chase took in a shaky breath as he couldn't help the tears from falling "I should've been here. I should've never fucking broken up with her." He slammed his hand against the wall.

"Please tell me you've already called an ambulance?" He said, his hand still against the wall as his forehead now rested against it too.

"Cheryl, if there's any chance you can hear me, please keep fighting. For all of us." Benjamin rubbed her arm as Lydia cried, her teardrops falling onto Cheryl's mascara stained face from how much the girl had cried prior to the incident.

"I'm never leaving your damn side again, Cher." Chase whispered to himself, now staring at the unconscious girl. "I love you."

CHERYL finds herself as lost as ever. The only person besides her mother who's she loved more than life itself left her. She couldn't figure out why. She felt foolish for allowing herself to fall so hard for someone who -in the end- didn't bother to catch her.

SHE felt as if she had terrible balance and was walking on a tightrope. Unsteady, was all she was. She was falling into a downward spiral and knew there was only one person that could save her from herself.
