The aces mother agreed to look after Tendou while he want on a run. Wakatoshi's head was spinning from all of this and for the first time in his life he's emotions had gotten the better of him. He jogged across to the stables his breath making small white puffs of smoke. The dirt under his shoes from the path made a loud crunch as his feet hit the worn out rocks and dirt. The noise of both his soft breath and the crunch of the dirt cleared his head from the worry's he felt for his best friend. Or at least Ushijima thought he was, he hadn't had one of those. When he came out to the old stables that were in despite need of repair only than did he stop.  The stables were around 15km from the house and located in the middle of a wide open field. He huffed and leaned against the rotting wood, the horses had been moved to another stable because this was so old it would be criminal to hold such beautiful animals  in this rotting wood. This place held sentimental value even if it wasn't the most appealing and Ushijima would often come here to mess around with a volleyball or play with his dog in his free time, granted he didn't have much of that. The greenish haired boy looked down at his hands, a small flake of Tendous dried blood remained there and he picked it off his skin with his nails. The ace than moved intot he old stable which stil had running water because his step father didn't fancy messing with it as it was an area he wasn't very good at. Watatoshi was grateful for his step father though as he allowed the cold water to wash over his hands. The remains of his friends blood wasnt visible but his hands still felt so dirty, he scrubbed and scrubbed until his hands were red and raw. Still his hands felt horrid, he didn't know how people did this.

Ushijima was still in the clothes he'd been in since yesterday and was in no mood to change when he returned to the house. He sat at the table for a moment, taking a few deep breaths before he saw Tendou again. This time the red head didnt look as helpless though. He was having a friendly chat his Watatoshi's mother while sipping at a water bottle. When the green haired boy walked into the living room he smiled, something Watatoshi had been missing. Tendous smile always made him feel happy and he was glad it was back. He gave him a small smile in return and planted himself on the white lounge next to the red head. The two sat there in a comfortable silence  before his mother wordless left the room.  The red head leaned over to rest his head in the older ones lap, it was something that he had done before but it felt warmer this time. Welcoming. The boys lay there for what seemed for an eternity but neither minded, there company was enough.

...

The number one of Shiritorazawa sat up suddenly making the number five flinch and groan in pain. "Sorry Tendou are you alright, i just remembered something"

"I'll live! Anyway what did ya remember  'toshi?" the red head said cheerfully despite his injury's.

"Well my parents took care of feeding the animals but I need to milk some cows for the upcoming farmers market. Would you like to join me?"

"Mmmhm" Tendou hummed a noise of agreement and with the help of his green haired friend he walked to the dirty truck that was parked rather precariously. The ace opened the car door  and helped Tendou in. "ah what a gentleman" Tendou commented as he closed the door. For some reason this made the ace blush as he made his way to the drivers side. The door was busted ans wouldn't open so the ace climbed in and almost kicked Tendou in the face, making the other fall into a fit of giggles.  As the ace drived Tendou looked at him, he didnt want to go back home or to school or to volleyball, this was his idea of paradise.
