Tendou didn't get that much sleep that night. He knew he had a match tomorrow but head didn't want to stop moving. He felt broken, much like the team sleepover he had something just felt so wrong. The third years of aoba joshi had invited him to stay the night after a couple of hours spent playing Minecraft, he was going to object but the rain seemed to hate him. Tendou hated the rain and without his boyfriend he was scared. He couldn't figure out if his lack of sleep was from the fear of rain, the strangely lumpy mattress he was sleeping in or the fact that not very far away were Iwa and Oikawa, who were, of course cuddling. Tendou had heard from Makki that they had confessed to each other in the kitchen after Iwa lost a match of PvP against Makki, weird way to to confess but Tendou could talk. Weather the lack of sleep was from any of those the red just could stop thinking of the ace of his team.

They say when someone is think of you you can't sleep. While most believe it was an old tale in this case it was true. In the dorms Ushijima lay awake, staring at the bottom of the top bunk where Reon(I think I made that his roommate? Idk I'm to lazy to check) was snoring. Ushijima would normally sleep like the dead but without the warm body of Tendou next to him the bed just seemed so big and so empty, despite the fact it was a single and Ushijimas feet dangled of the side of it. He couldn't get the middle blocker out of his mind. He loved him he really did but sometimes he wished he didn't. He knew they rushed the beginning of there relationship, he knew the simple 'ok we are dating now' would work out. They needed to talk about everything, set boundaries or whatever couples did, but neither boy was very good with feelings and neither had a good example of a relationship when growing up.

At around midnight Tendou looked over at his phone, it was ringing with his boyfriends contact photo on the screen. Oikawa, who had woken everyone up for a midnight snack rolled his eyes "leave it he's an asshole"
"No he's not, I don't like him but he's not as bad as you make him out to be Shittykawa" Iwa said, reaching over to grab Tendous phone from the bench and hand it to him. "RUDE IWA-CHAN"
"STOP IT WITH THE NICKNAME SHITTYKAWA!" Tendou giggled as he did infact answer after going to another room.

"Hey..." he started as he heard he ace sigh in relief when he answered. "Where are you?" The ace asked quietly, he had gone to the other boys dorm looking for him, to try to explain or anything. "I'm with Oikawa I just... I'm so lost I don't know, I'm sorry I shouldn't have left and I shouldn't have shouted at you-"
"Tendou no-"
"I understand if you hate me now I'm so sorry"
"Tendou. I don't hate you. I love you, now do you want me to come and get you, you didn't have your meds"
"Yes please I'm scared..." Tendou mumbled as thunder rumbled in the distance.
