"Hotch, please let me go in and question him." Lila begged her Unit Chief. He looked at Hudson who sat in the interrogation room, trying to slip his hands out of the cuffs around his wrists. "Fine, go." Hotch handed her the case file and Lila walked into the room.

She set the file on the table and settled in the chair across from Hudson. Lila wasn't the best at interrogations, but she wanted answers. Hudson licked his lips and looked up at the two-way glass behind Lila.

"Your Unit Chief is behind there, probably your father, and that little boyfriend of yours is in the hospital. How's he doing anyway?" Lila ignored the fact that he had called Devin her boyfriend. "How did you know about Agent Miller? You called Agent Hotchner to see how he was doing." Lila scowled at the detective across from her.

"Did you forget? You texted me, Lila." She rolled her eyes. "I don't have your number in my phone, so how could I have texted you?" He shook his head. "You know what I think?" Hudson shrugged and let her continue.

"I believe that you shot Agent Miller to just get him out of the way. He could tell you were interested in me, so you shot your competition." Lila hated referring to Devin as someone Hudson had to compete with. She pulled out a few pictures out from the case file and laid them in front of the detective.

"You know who that is?" He nodded. "Luna Carrington, the last victim. What are you getting at here?" Lila ignored his question. "How many times did she reject you when you asked her out to go to lunch? Five? Six times? That must've made you angry and you don't like taking no for an answer, we learned that yesterday."

"I didn't do anything, I don't understand this!" Hudson almost yelled. Lila absolutely hated yelling, she was terrified of it. "I imagine that you did it with the rest of the victims as well," she pulled out the other victims pictures and set them next to Luna's.

"You watched these girls for a while. You asked them out and when you got tired of rejection, you took your anger out on them. So you raped and murdered them." Hudson's eyes were locked with Lila's. "Maybe I did," he shrugged. "Yeah, I shot Miller. He was ruining my plans with you." Lila crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Oh the things I would do to you." She almost cringed. "What if someone did this to your daughter? What if this was Elizabeth." Hudson looked as if he was about to cry at the mention of his daughter. "Fine, I did it!" He shouted.

"Where's Mackenzie Bryan? You better tell me now." She stood up slowly, gathering the photos while waiting for his answer. "Right now." Lila demanded. "In a abandoned house at the corner of East Lavender."

Lila grabbed the file and walked out of the interrogation room, letting out a sigh of relief when the door closed behind her. "You did great, Lila." Emily reassured.

All Lila could do was play Hudson's comments in her head. "Let's go." The team grabbed their vests, guns and everything they needed before heading to the location Hudson told them about.

The team slid out of the SUV's they'd piled into and split up, walking into the house where the most recent victim was. "FBI!" Hotch yelled as they searched the abandoned house.

"Clear!" Emily said loudly. Lila and JJ both made their way to the basement, guns and flashlights out in front of them. "Help!! Please! Someone!!" A young girl sobbed.

"Mackenzie Bryan?" Lila called. "I'm here!! Please help!" The strong smell of gasoline wafted into Lila's nostrils. She glanced back at the blonde behind her.

"You smell that, right?" JJ nodded as the teen girl came into view. "He has made me hold this for a while," Mackenzie cried, holding a lighter in her left hand. "I think I'm gonna drop it."

Lila and JJ ran over to the teen, holstering their guns. Lila closed the lighter cap carefully. After she slid it out of Mackenzie's hand, the young girl gripped onto JJ.

"Hey sweetie, it's okay. Let's get you out of here." JJ smiled sweetly at Mackenzie, helping her up and leading her upstairs. Lila followed them and watched JJ walk the teen to an ambulance.

They'd saved her.

After Devin was released from the hospital, the team boarded the jet and were on their way home. Devin sat in front of Lila, who stared out the window of the jet.

"Lils, you okay?" He asked. Lila snapped out of her trance and looked at the curly haired man. "Yeah, I'm good. Are you okay?" She smiled at his concern, though she'd been absolutely fine.

Devin had been shot, and he was one of the most caring people Lila had ever met. "Just sore." He laughed softly.

"So when's the wedding you two?" Emily stood behind the seat Lila was in. "Never!" Spencer quickly said, making everyone laugh.

"What my dad said. We're not even dating, Emily." JJ continued to laugh, shrugging her shoulders. "Mhm. And what happened with Will and I?"

Lila rolled her eyes, and smiled at Devin. She found him staring and he quickly looked away. Pink slightly dusted her cheeks and Emily sat next to her.

"You like him." She whispered to Lila. "Don't profile me, and no I don't." Emily nodded and Lila knew she didn't believe her.

"Don't tell anyone." Lila told her quietly and Emily started laughing. They two girls got many stares, people wondering what they were talking about.

Derek ended up next to Devin, who had been looking at his phone and his smile no longer among his lips. Lila decided she would talk to him about it later once he set his phone down.

"So ladies, what're we talking about over here?" The African- American man asked. Lila faced Emily, acting like she was confused. "Do you remember what we were talking about?"

"You know, I don't. What was it?" Emily responded. "Oh, come on, Sunshine." Lila shrugged, trying to keep herself from laughing.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Derek nodding at Emily. Lila looked back at Devin who stared out the window, like Lila had done twenty minutes prior.

"Dev?" She said. "Hm?" Devin hummed in response. "Are you okay?"

He shrugged. "It's just Clara. I'll tell you about it when we're back in Quantico." She reached her hand across the table, and Devin set his hand on hers.

"I'm here for you, Dev."
