"Man...that was really weird, it felt like I was walking nowhere," Nattie said as she stepped out of the black sphere.
"Yeah...Like I was moving but I wasn't moving." Antoinette agreed with Nattie as she too exited the black sphere.
Once both of them had emerged from the black sphere, they both looked at the two men on the ground in surprise.
"There's more of you...?" The man asked with caution in his voice.
He stood up and took a step back, placing a hand behind his back as if he were going to grab a weapon that hung from his waist.
"What're your intentions?" He asked with a calm and collected attitude, still being cautious.
"We've been sent here by a friend, he's asked us to register with the adventuring guild in the capital of the Rogor Kingdom." Alora explained, cutting to the chase.
"Rogor kingdom...?" The man asked, trying to confirm what Alora had just said.
"Yep, that's the one." Nattie confirmed for him.
"Not the Akath kingdom?" The man asked.
"We don't know of any Akath kingdom I'm afraid." Antoinette replied.
"So...you're here to help the Rogor kingdom then...? Through the adventuring guild?" He asked.
"Well...I guess you could say that?" Antoinette replied hesitantly.
"Then that makes us friends." The man said as he brought his hand to a resting position once again.
"My name is Dagothur, it's a pleasure to meet you since we're on the same side." Dagothur said as he sat down on the ground once more to rest.
"Same side? What do you mean?" Alora asked curiously.
"We're about to engage in a war with the Akath Kingdom, we just had our first-ever violent encounter here just a bit ago." Dagothur answered.
After Dagothur had said this, the three girls all turned around only to gaze upon the settlement that had just been burnt to ash. They could clearly see that only Dagothur and the young unconscious man on the ground were the only survivors of this battle.
"How cruel..." Antoinette said under her breath.
"Yes...the Akathians are ruthless and brutal. They've now decided to try and invade the Rogor kingdom and take our land." Dagothur briefly explained to them the current state of the kingdom while clearly becoming more and more aggravated just thinking about it.
Dagothur shook his head slightly as if to get the thoughts out of his head.
"But that's not something for you three to worry about. I'm about to head back to the capital with this sole survivor here. Come with me, I'll take you to wherever you need to go." He said.
"On foot? Won't that take too long?" Alora responded.
"There's a horse behind you guys, even if it's only one it's better than nothing." He said.
"I have a dr--" Antoinette was cut off abruptly by Alora who quickly raised a finger to her mouth and leaned in towards Antoinette.
"Just wait a second." Alora whispered so that only Antoinette could hear.
Alora then brought her finger back and turned towards Dagothur.
"How rare are dragons around here?" She asked.
"Dragons? Hm...they're rarer than Wyverns but they've been found a fair amount." He replied.
"How do you view dragons? As a friend or foe?" Alora asked again.
