Dagothur led the girls into the main lounge room of the mansion, where he gestured for them to take a seat on the large, comfy couch that sat opposite another with a table dividing the two.
"Take a seat, we'll discuss the details of the guild registration," Dagothur said as he took a seat.
The three girls followed suit and took a seat on the couch, now facing Dagothur who had an eager face.
"As you three girls know, you were being tested to be assigned a rank within the guild, Although I may not be one of the main staff members of the guild, I can always decide the rank of those who I have personally witnessed in combat. Would you three like to know your ranks?" Dagothur said.
"Come on, spill!" Alora replied eagerly.
"Yeah tell us!" Nattie added in.
"I'm excited to find out." Antoinette said.
"Well, I already explained to you earlier what the rankings are, so feel free to ask me any questions after." Dagothur said as he leaned in, clamping his hands together.
The three girls were now eagerly awaiting Dagothur's response.
"Well, Nattie, I've decided to place you as a high C rank, although you may not have performed well during today's test. I can see some potential in you, I'm sure you'll climb higher and get stronger down the line." Dagothur explained.
"Aw, C...that's not too bad though right?" Nattie asked, seemingly down a bit.
"No, that's very good, most members start at the E rank or low D rank." Dagothur reassured with a smile.
Nattie's expression brightened up a bit at the news.
"Well, that's not too bad then." She replied.
"Now, Alora, after watching you fight today, I've decided to rank you with a mid B rank. You're definitely strong, with plenty of room to be stronger, I'll expect great things of you down the line." Dagothur said.
"Ay! That ain't bad, was hoping for an A though..." Alora exclaimed excitedly.
"You did well today, very well." Dagothur said as he congratulated her.
"Now, Antoinette. I've found it quite difficult to rank you, although we hadn't seen much of your combat prowess. It's undeniable that you are a gifted individual with an abundance of raw magic energy. After thinking About it carefully, I have decided to rank you as a low A rank. I'm expecting you to be able to breach S- rank one day, you definitely have the potential." Dagothur said as he congratulated her with a clap and a smile.
"Woah! That's really good Antoinette!" Alora excitedly clapped along with Dagothur and congratulated Antoinette.
"Wow! I was not expecting that!" Nattie said as she patted Antoinette on the shoulder, congratulating her.
"Oh, and did I tell you guys that I'm planning to enrol you all into the upcoming swordsmanship tournament?" Dagothur said.
The room fell silent for a bit before Alora had spoken up.
"Huh?" Alora said.
"It's exactly what it sounds like, its a tournament where one displays their swordsmanship. I was planning to enrol you guys into it, but of course, that's if you want to." Dagothur explained.
"But, none of us know swordsmanship..." Antoinette replied.
"Well, I'm sure you guys are quick learners, the tournament isn't for another 7 months." Dagothur replied.
