Chapter 20: Hidden Helper

"N-Now?" Nattie asked.

"Yep, come on I don't have all day!" Fiora replied.

"Uhm, okay..." Nattie said as she walked past Dagothur and Alora, and stood opposite Fiora by a few meters. 

"Are you sure I'll be okay?" Nattie asked once more to confirm with Fiora.

"Yup~" Fiora replied.

Nattie nervously stood still and stared at Fiora, waiting for something to happen.

"Ready~?" Fiora asked.

"Uh...yeah...I guess?" Nattie replied.

"Well, here goes!" Fiora said as she quickly disappeared from sight and appeared in front of Nattie. 

"Slow!" Fiora said as she flicked Nattie's forehead, sending her back a few meters, tumbling on the ground.

Nattie let out a few grunts of pain as she tumbled over the ground, slowly picking herself up afterwards.

"Man...how am I meant to fight against that?!" Nattie said out loud.

"Mmm, dunno~!" Fiora replied with a smirk on her face. 

Dagothur, Antoinette and Alora only watched on at the one-sided beat down. 

"It looks like Nattie isn't going to have a good time with this..." Alora said.

"Yeah, it doesn't look like shes got any ability to use against her," Dagothur replied.

"I'm sure she'll figure something out, right?" Antoinette added in.

"Let's hope so." Alora replied.

The three quietly watched on as Nattie seemed to struggle against Fiora. 

"And one more..." Fiora said as she once again vanished and appeared behind Nattie.

"Time!" Fiora finished as she kicked Nattie in the back, sending her to the ground once more. 

Nattie tumbled onto the ground once more, scraping her knee slightly. 

"Ow, man..." Nattie said as she slowly stood back up. 

"Wanna tap out~?" Fiora asked.

"Nah, I think I've got a trick..." Nattie said as a golden mist started to coalesce around her hands and her eyes turned to a golden tint. 

"Oh~ This is new." Fiora said as she watched Nattie. 

"What's she doing?" Alora asked out loud.

"I've not a clue." Dagothur replied.

"That's definitely her magic though..." Antoinette added in. 

"She's probably doing something with it, but what?" Antoinette said.

"Maybe...she's gonna move or change something...?" Alora said.

"She can do that?" Dagothur asked.

"Yeah...but I haven't seen much of what she can do." Antoinette replied.

"Yeah, we haven't seen the extent of her power yet..." Alora added. 

"Well, let's find out shall we?" Dagothur said and turned back towards Nattie.

The golden mist that was swirling around Nattie's hands began to pour into her skin, dispersing throughout her body. It seemed as though she was absorbing the magic energy into herself. In a few seconds, the golden mist faintly swirled around her entire body, coating it in a thin and almost unseeable mist of gold. Her eyes still shone a brilliant golden colour as they locked onto Fiora.
