In my nervous writer head I always wonder if my latest book is going to be the one where people realize I'm a hack who can't tell a decent story to save her life, and that readers are just going to move on and employ their precious time in more worthwhile causes. I can't help but feel that way every time I hit Publish.
Thus every time I release a new book you guys astound me with your response. I never take your engagement for granted, it's such a joy to see you get so into the characters and their story.
EOR is such a personal story in ways that if you've read it you already know. Seeing others connect with it so much... it just warmed my heart. It made me feel seen. Which is a little selfish because the goal of a writer is for you to feel seen in the characters. I think we accomplished this one both ways this time!
Thank you so, so much for enjoying Addy and Miguel's story and for your support I want to give this little heartfelt award to those of you who brought me the most joy with your comments with every update. Normally I do just ten readers but I'm chucking my own rules out the window this time, you guys just made my day consistently.
