**trigger warning, racist comments from Jayson***
MANY OF YOU CAN'T EVEN MARRY, at the age of seventeen. That's like your whole life at that small age. You're married, you have kids—God forbid I have kids, you start working, you have so much responsibilities on your hands. There was a lot to do when you get married, like the time always gets off your hands.
I learnt that from my mother, who was practically given a contract to marry my intimidating father. I bet she really wanted to marry Ned Flanders from down the road.
I sigh, shaking away all the thoughts I had about my love life, before we bulldoze down the hallways and everyone jumps out of our way. We all raised our heads up high—demandjng the attention from those who didn't result in betraying us or spreading defamation about.
From close to my shoulder, Reeves mumbles profanities under his mouth. I wonder why, I glance at where he was gazing off too and clench my jaw.
Motherfucker.
"Why is he here?" Jerry ponders, his tone holding resentment and disgust.
"Yeah, why the fuck is he?" Reeves sneers, gritting his teeth.
That Jayson bitch was standing there like a red bull, waiting for the red flag so he could come and charge at us. We all shot our heads to look at Adonis for a confirmation of his death.
"Alright, I'll let you guys have him, I'm tired anyways," The japanese boy mumbles, before taking a sip of his banana milk.
"And—uh, I'll just be watching from the sidelines. Reeves do you want to join? I mean fighting isn't your forte, right?" Jerry asked my best friend.
Reeves stretched his arm muscles out and shot Jerry an Incredulous look. "Says who... these bad boys have been working out at the gym lately."
I smile at that, Jerry rolls his eyeballs before dragging Adonis to watch with the other students what's about to go down. In some part of my heart, I knew that Adonis didn't step in because he wanted us to get stronger, I mean that guy was strong. Even stronger than Elias, physically.
To be honest our Noodle gang leader may be really strong, but he's the strongest because he's really intelligent, far more than I am. And even Reeves. He's also the leader because of all the experience and traumas he's gone through.
We still don't know the full extent of what Mr and Mr Kim did to him, to make him the same cold, grouchy guy he is.
He's always like that. One second he would open up to you. The next, he wants to distance himself from you—its like he's afraid of hurting us all and becoming like his parents.
