THE COMMANDER FILLS EVERYONE IN, with our first mission. Sadly, we only had to investigate something, which was really disappointing to say the least. I wanted action-I looked beside me and found Adonis tensing his jaw as if he wanted it too.
"You have come so far and I'm proud of that," The grey-beard old man said. "That's great, it really is."
The girls were staring aimlessly at the sunset outside the window, wanting to probably binge watch that show they were currently watching, was it Gilmore Girls?
Reeves was on his laptop, he was trying to hack into that jerk in our to-be gone soon high school's phone. Apparently Jayson, the jerks phone he was hacking into, was threatening to send nudes about a girl in Reeves class. Reeves didn't like it - nor did we all and the commander said he could use his hacking powers to some good use.
Reeves wanted to quit hacking though and probably teach it to Daphne in the next two weeks that we got. Daphne was a quick learner and Reeves was a quick teacher so it would work out. Besides, Reeves doesn't want to hack anymore, the main reason was because his parents (foster ones) were concerned about his lack of hours on his studies and him always being holed up in his room. As the loving son he is, he cared about them and understood so he told Commander he'd quit and pass it over to Daphne.
The redhead's reaction to this was "Ooooo!" Then she went and popped a champagne bottle and celebrated it with her girlfriend Gilda. The two of them. I shake my head and chuckle under my breath.
The other uninterested one in this briefing given by the commander, was Brooke.
As much as he was annoying, he did have feelings. Recently his "rich" parents were trying to make him get married to another "rich" family. Brooke didn't want to marry anyone. I don't know why - but something else has been bugging him, but I didn't question it, instead I watched as he yawned and stared at his wrist-watch in tiredness.
Jerry wasn't here. He was like the normal one of our friendship group, but we keep him close just in case anything backfires in our gang.
Adonis and I were the only ones who would probably get the information late at this hour and brief everyone about it all, when they were all probably fully awake.
It was now - 2.04 am and the commander was still briefing us. He resorted in pulling out case files and other important stuff on the coffee table in front of us all.
He points to the board. There's two person of interests names. Hunter samson and Derry West.
I didn't already like this Hunter Samson guy. He looked like the Jayson of our school. Just looking at his preppy jock status and his pathetic academic grades-that even Brooke, if tutored enough could score better than him. Not to mention the amount of money he wastes on cars alone.
