Shay's POV

The oddest part of being in this world is the small differences the place has compared to the way it was when we played it. One example is some things are louder than they were in the game. The other part is how much creepier the studio is when you're actually inside it. It was starting to freak me out. As if this world knew that, a wooden board fell from the ceiling and hit the floor. It startled me, despite the fact I knew about that event.

May shook her head. "We've played the game countless times, so this shouldn't be scaring you. It's pathetic, so stop being a baby and grow up." She then walked away.

Her cold words stung. Why did I let Kate convince me to drink that alcohol? I mentally scolded myself. My sister has anger issues, and when she doesn't keep it in check, she'll act coldly towards others. Which is why I decided to avoid her for a bit. When I saw her turn right and follow Henry, I went left. However, I had forgotten we were heading to the break room, so when I entered the dissection room, I froze.

"Oh my god." I gasped.

May's POV

We entered the break room, which had six pedestals and each one had a picture behind it. There was a bunch of machinery, with two pipes, and a switch in between them. A large sign that said 'Ink Machine' on it, and the words 'main power' were underneath in small letters.

"Alright, how do we get this to work?" Henry wondered.

"We'll have to find the items shown in the pictures and put them on their corresponding pedestal." I reasoned.

"That makes sense." He said with a shrug. "How do you want to do this?"

The way that Henry worded his question immediately made me think of the numerous times Matt Mercer said those words on Critical Role, something that Shay got me hooked on. It was enough to make my cold anger fade as I started giggling, before I burst out laughing. (AN: Yes, I am a fan of Critical Role.)

"What's so funny?" A rather confused Henry asked.

I waved it off. "It's nothing. Don't Worry about it." I said as I wiped a couple of tears from my eyes. "Anyways let's split them up. Henry, you can find the ink jar and book, I'll find the record and wrench, and Shay, you go find the plushie and gear." I turned to look at her, only to realize she wasn't there. Where is she? She was behind me a couple of minutes ago. "Shay?" I looked around, quickly getting worried. "Shay?!"

"She might be in the room that was on the left side of the hallway we went down to get here."

My eyes widened when I realized what room he was talking about. Please don't let her be in there. I silently prayed as I ran out of the room with Henry close behind. We just exited the break room when we were startled by a Bendy Cutout.

"Who put this here?!" Henry exclaimed.

I kicked it so hard it broke into a few pieces. "Doesn't matter anymore." I growled. Then I saw my sister, and my heart stopped. She was standing in front of the operating table. Her mouth was covered by her right hand as her whole body shook violently. I walked up to her side. "Shay?" She looked at me and I saw the look of horror on her face as tears poured down it. I pulled her into my embrace, and felt her hug me as I wrapped one arm around her while I stroked her hair with the other. "Shh. I'm here." I cooed, my anger towards her washed away by her tears.

As I worked to calm my traumatized sister, Henry came in and saw the corpse. "Oh my god. Joey, what were you doing?" As I already knew, it was the corpse of a Boris Clone. Shay's reaction was understandable since seeing it for real proved to be much worse than seeing it in a video game. Especially since like many of the other things we've seen so far, the corpse had details that it didn't in the game which made it much more horrifying.
