May's POV
When I woke up, I expected for my sister to still be depressed, and refuse to get out of bed. I did not expect her to have woken up before the rest of us, happily playing with a puppy. Henry was equally surprised, Boris didn't care, and Esme was still in bed.
Shay looked up at us and beamed. "Look at my new puppy! She's a Shiba Inu, and I've named her Katie. Isn't she adorable?"
I frowned. "Sis, where the heck did it come from?!"
She glared at me. "She was a gift from Susie. Katie was created using the Ink Machine."
That alarmed me. "If that psycho gave you a dog it means she murdered someone to create it."
"It's okay, because Katie used to be Kate." Shay calmly explained.
"What?!" I exclaimed. "How?!"
Shay shrugged. "I don't know how she did it, and I don't care. I despised Kate. However I can't help but love Katie. She's adorable!"
I looked at the dog. "Are you really Kate?" The shiba inu nodded her head and whimpered. I sighed. "Let me guess, Alice somehow kidnapped you, and you said something that tickled her off." She whimpered some more.
"Stop upsetting my puppy!" Shay snapped. She then grabbed the tiny thing, and held the dog in her arms. "Also, stop calling her Kate, who's dead, and use her actual name, Katie."
"Shay..."
"This isn't up for discussion!" She interrupted. "Kate deserved what she got, but the things she did to me won't stop me from showering Katie with love and adoration."
I felt my anger boil. "I may have despised Kate, but this is just wrong." I growled, then left the safehouse to go on a supply run. "Nobody follow me if you value your life!"
----
I was mad. No, I was pissed. That so-called angel had managed to wrap my sister around her finger faster than Kate did. She's going to kill Boris, and turn him into a monster. Why can't Shay see how psychotic Alice is? I asked myself. Time to give that angel a piece of my mind. As I made my way to the elevator, part of me argued that this was a bad idea, but I didn't care. When I stood in front of it, memories of playing the game and watching the elevator fall flashed before my eyes. At the same time, I recalled some of my new memories of hearing about elevator accidents.
I shook my head. Thomas is right, the stairs are safer. I decided. As I descended the stairs. I heard something that snapped me out of my current train of thought. Someone was humming the tune for 'I'll Be Your Angel'. It was quiet, but just barely echoed in the staircase. Who's that? It's definitely not the psycho considering she hums 'Lonely Angel'. I reasoned, but something about the voice was familiar. Despite everything I knew from playing the game, I started heading towards the voice. My logic eventually gave up and said: Goodbye ya walking corpse, I'm outta here.
When I saw the person the voice belonged to, my jaw dropped. It was Allison Angel, who had a height of 6'2 ½. Since her inky form was based on the original Alice Angel, she shared many physical traits with her psychotic counterpart. However, unlike her counterpart, Allison's face didn't have any deformities, it was perfect. She didn't have any beauty spots, no moles, her eyes were dark yellow, her black hair was tied up in a ponytail, and she wore a headband. However, she didn't have a halo, and her horns were broken.
Just like the other angel, she wore a black dress, but it had wider straps, and had a brown stain over it which gave it the impression of a top. It also had a bow, but hers was tinted with darker colors. Allison's dress also didn't have a white bow on the back of it. She also wore tights, but instead of shoes, Allison wore boots, and both had a single belt buckle on it. Her arms were also entirely covered in ink, which gave an impression of black opera gloves. Finally, unlike her counterpart, she wore a belt with an attached messenger bag, from which a wrench, a Gent pipe, and a crowbar were visible. A rope was over her left shoulder, and she had a leather dagger holder with a wrench in it.
