Shay's POV

When I woke up, I noticed that aside from the pain from my broken leg, I felt great. As I set up, May groaned after she woke up. "My head feels like it wants to murder me." She looked at me. "How's your head doing?" She asked as she helped me get up.

"It feels wonderful." I replied honestly. "However, my leg still feels like crap." Then I noticed her expression changed to one of shock. "What's wrong?"

"We've been altered somehow." She stammered. "We have different heights."

I suddenly realized she was right. Everything did seem slightly bigger. I then noticed something. "You're no longer wearing heels." I noted.

She looked down and sighed. "Dress shoes? Well that's better than heels. However it looks like I was given the 3 inches the heels had given me."

"Well what about me?"

After looking me over for a minute May replied. "You seem to have shrunk to 5'10" She then sighed. "This makes no sense. How did this even happen?"

Before either of us could discuss the subject further, we heard Henry groan as he woke up. "Ugh, my head. What happened?" He looked at us as he stood up. "How long were we out?"

May shrugged. "I don't know. It's hard to tell time in this place."

Henry nodded. "In that case, I guess there is only one thing we can do: Press on and see if we can find a way out of this place."

May nodded in agreement, and scooped me into her arms once again before she followed Henry, who was holding the axe again. We left the ritual room and were descending a flight of stairs, when I noticed a sign.

Utility Shaft 9

"Guys, look." I said, pointing to the sign.

May looked at it and grinned. We already knew where we were, but May had to play the role of former employee. Which she was doing an oddly good job at doing. I noted.

"So this is Utility Shaft 9 eh? Wonderful, that means we're heading towards the Music Department." She informed us. "This is very fortunate because that means the infirmary is close by."

Henry sighed. "How did this place get so big?" He asked himself.

We entered the next room, and noticed the audio log which Henry walked over to and pushed play.

Sammy Lawrence:

"He appears from the shadows to rain his sweet blessings upon me. The figure of ink that shines in the darkness. I see you, my savior. I pray you hear me. Those old songs, yes, I still sing them. For I know you are coming to save me. And I will be swept into your final loving embrace. But, love requires sacrifice. Can I get an amen?"

"Amen." I responded, earning a glare from my sister and our friend. "What?"

"I said, can I get an amen?" Sammy asked. As May and I expected, when we looked around Sammy wasn't there.

"Amen." I repeated, then was glared at again. "What?!"

The two of them shook their heads, and we continued on in silence. As we went through the ink corridor, we saw Sammy walking by on the other end. "Sheep, sheep, sheep, it's time for sleep. Rest your head. It's time for bed."

"Hello! Excuse me!" Henry called out. "Can you help us? Hello?" Of course, when we got to the other side, Sammy was gone. "Where the heck did he go?"

May and I decided to get closer to the wall that Sammy had walked towards, and we could barely hear his voice on the other side. "In the morning you may wake or in the morning you'll be dead." He creepily uttered.
