The race was almost a bloodbath.

At least for Loki and Nyssa.

"Not the right time to be nostalgic, Nyssa." She told herself then looked at her surroundings once again.

Since she needed an escape route for a moment to take a breath, she decided to go up among the trees.

But even going up there, someone still tried to run after her.

Lucky for Nyssa, Anastasia's body was so used in climbing trees even higher than these around them and so the person who was after her had to stop chasing her.

She grinned and stop at one of the topmost sturdy branches.

Maru instantly healed her.

Ang kaso, as soon as she felt her energy getting renewed, Maru suddenly screamed inside her.

"Jump!"

While falling down, nagawa pang lumingon ni Nyssa behind her.

There, she found a flock of ravens flying from west to east.

Her brows instantly wrinkled. She faced forward again and prepared to land.

As soon as her feet touched the ground, she felt the trembling below her.

Then she looked towards the west kung saan nanggaling ang mga ravens.

Soon, it wasn't just her who was looking towards that direction.

The other cultivators felt it too.

The ground was trembling. Like a huge number of beings were running towards them.

At hindi nga sila nagkamali.

There were indeed beings running to their directions.

What were those?

Sacred beasts...

Some started to panic and run away.

Some got attacked as soon as the creatures reached them.

But the rest, they prepared and started to fight.
