106: Captured 4

Nyssa was whipped thoroughly last night.

Anastasia didn't hold back.

Maybe, she really wanted to torture her because of what had happened to Yuan.

Anyhow, Nyssa bore the pain soundlessly.

That's right.

Anastasia didn't hear her scream, not even once, despite whipping her for almost all night.

Napagod na lang ang dalaga at lahat lahat ay nanatili pa rin si Nyssa na kagat kagat ang labi niya. She didn't even care if her lips were already bleeding or not.

Unfortunately, she could no longer do that today.

Maaga pa lamang ay pinapasok na siya ni Anastasia sa isang kwarto doon.

Muli siyang ginapos ng mga tauhan ng babae sa may pader.

She also noticed that under her feet, there were a pile of dried grass.

Agad siyang napatingala kay Anastasia.

"I admire your resistance last night. Today though, I will make sure your throat will bleed after screaming in pain and begging me for your life."

"I doubt that."

"We'll see."

A fire came out from Anastasia's hand and she threw it towards the dried grass underneath Nyssa.

The first burst of pain attacked her quickly. But still, she refused to give in to Anastasia.

She bit her lip and hatefully looked at the lady before her who had a sneer on her lips.

Nyssa knew that she had used the Unburn Fire of her family. It was the signature torment attack of the Ryder Clan. It would feel like a normal fire but it would not leave any burns on the body. It could be used a lot of times to the same person and yet, it wouldn't kill at all.

"I know you are familiar about this fire. I am not sure if it has been used against you before. But I am gifting this to you today." Then she looked at her people. "Whip her. I want to hear her scream as loud as she can until she begs."

Anastasia tossed the whip towards one of her people and walked out the room.

Despite the room having four walls, Adam and Khalil could still clearly hear the scream of Nyssa from within it.

They both couldn't take it. But there was no way for them to help her at all.

In fact, out of frustration, Khalil couldn't stop his tears.

They passed out yesterday matapos ng pagsabog sa gitna ng ritual ni Yuan. When they woke up, Nyssa was already passed out on her corner full of bruises and wounds. They could guess that someone had tortured her thoroughly last night.

Now, she would undergo the same torment. He really wanted to replace Nyssa from that room. He could take that torture, instead of her. But these people were very cruel.

All he and Adam could do was to stare daggers towards that lady in the middle of the room who was busy absorbing the essence of the children they abducted.

It was another kind of cruel scene upon looking at her. A sleeping child would be placed in front of her and she would hold the kid's hand.

Slowly, the kid would lose his/her essence and inflate like a balloon until he/she turned into ashes. Then they would replace the ashes to another kid.

"You are all monsters." Khalil couldn't help saying with full of disgust.

Anastasia, who had her eyes close while absorbing the current kid's essence, just simply smiled.

"You just realize it now?"

"Let Ana go! She doesn't deserve this abuse."

She opened her eyes and looked at Khalil and Adam. She tilted her head habang nakatingin sa kanila as if they were such amusing people for her.

"You should stop calling her as Ana by now. You have heard our conversation yesterday. You should know that I am the real Anastasia and she is the real Nyssa.

"I am just curious though. You are all friends. But why does she never told you about her real identity?

"Was it because she thought you would never believe her? Or was it because she never had trusted you?"

"Your brainwashing won't affect us at all. Just stop her torture now." Adam said coldly.

"Hmmn, I have no idea what that lady did to make you all defend her like this. But you got her all wrong, you know.

"You think we are monsters. But what about her? You know, she grew up in Ryder clan. She had been with the other monsters longer than I was. Do you really think she was that innocent?"

"She was nowhere like you all. She is a loyal and principled person. She would never be like you." Depensa ni Khalil kay Nyssa.

Anastasia shrugged.

"Bahala kayo. Basta I have already warned you all."

"Let her go!"

"Not gonna happen. Not when that scream of hers is like a music to my ears. So just save your energy for you to be able to take care of her later."

When sunset came, Nyssa was carried out by Anastasia's men from the torture room. Then they tied her between Khalil and Adam.

Agad namang inasikaso ng dalawa si Nyssa.

Adam let her lean on his body habang si Khalil naman ang nagpainom ng tubig sa dalaga.

He wanted to feed her too but she no longer had that strength. She just wanted to curl up and sleep.

Agad namang pinagpatong ng dalawa ang outer garments nila at nilatag para mahigaan ng dalaga. Then Adam made her sleep on his lap as her pillow.

"What a touching scene... You really take care of her well. But that only pisses me off. What to do then? Since she never begs me today, I can only level up the torture tomorrow."

Anastasia told them then she giggled with ridicule towards them. She once again closed her eyes and continued absorbing essence.

Hindi na siya pinansin ng dalawa.

All they wanted to was to take care of Nyssa.

Her skin was all red.

Bukod sa whip, mukhang may iba pang torture ang ginawa sa kanya ang mga ito sa loob ng kwarto.

Both of them could only clench their fist out of unreconciled feeling.

How could they do this towards Nyssa?

They continued looking out for the lady.

Magkakalahating oras na sigurong tulog ito ng mapansin nila ang kakaibang nangyayari sa mga sugat ng dalaga.

Nagkatinginan sila Adam at Khalil.

Both of them were surprised at first but eventually they nodded at each other, not even daring to discuss out loud what they had observed.

Anyway, the peculiar event was also good for them.

Seemed like even within Nyssa's constriction to the Void, Maru was still able to find a way to heal her master.

That's right!

Adam and Khalil both saw it. Nyssa's wounds were very slowly getting better.
