What Other Boys Won't Do

This oneshot is basically a recreation of the first episode of a yuri anime I watched called, Sakura Trick. I highly recommend watching it or at least watching the first episode to better understand this. Its a subbed slice of life anime and is absolutely adorable. Also Shuichi and Kokichi will be a bit out of character to be similar to the episode. Though it will mostly be similar, I will change a few things.

Shuichi's POV

Tomorrow, I become a high school student.. 

I wonder if I'll make any new friends...

Maybe, I should talk to Kokichi about it..

No, I can't rely on Kokichi for everything!

In frustration and embarrassment, I dropped my phone that was previously in my hands, onto my bed.

I'm going to sleep!

I pulled the blanket over my head and flipped the light switch.

My name is Shuichi, Shuichi Saihara to be exact, and tomorrow, is when I officially become a high schooler. I'm a bit nervous. Middle school wasn't that bad, but that was only because I had Kokichi in my class, but he's going to the same school as me so maybe we could have the same class again!

Kokichi is my best friend. We met during middle school since I was lonely and he reached out to me. He's energetic and a bit of a tsundare at times, but I still love being around him! I love a lot about him. The way his eyes sparkle when he's happy, or his cute pouty face when he doesn't get what he wants. I've told my uncle about this and he says that I have a crush on Kokichi. But that can't be it! Right?

Buzz buzz!

Huh?

I picked up my phone, my eyes adjusting from the bright screen. It appears I someone is calling me.. Kokichi is calling me! I pressed accept call.

"Kokichi?" I called out.

"Hi Shuichi. Did you remember to pack your school supplies?" His voice spoke over the phone.

Your calling me at 2:35 in the morning just to ask me that?

"I did." I respond.

"Okay."

Bttz

Huh? I pull my phone away from my ear to see that he hung up. The phone buzzed. He's calling me again?

"Hello?"

"Shuichi, after you go in front of the gate tomorrow, be sure to check which class your in." He informed.

"Y-yes, I know."

"Do you really?"

"I do! You're the one who should make sure not to show up with food on your face!"

"No I won't! I'm not you, you know!"

"I don't do stuff like that!"

"Alright, I'm hanging up now. Don't show up with cereal stuck on your face tomorrow."

"Like I said, that's you-"

He hung up again. 

Why'd you do that! Now I'm wide awake! I shout out, even though he couldn't hear me.

I eyes glance over at a picture of us on my bedside table. My expression softened. Now that I think about it, he must have called me because he was worried. Kokichi is really nice, even if he doesn't like to show it.
