Winter Kisses

I kinda got this idea from a dream.

Third Person Perspective

The outside air was so cold that you could see puffs of breath when people would talk. It was winter time but not Christmas just yet. Small snow flakes painted the trees and roofs of buildings and houses with a fluffy layer of white snow, fresh from the clouds above.

Shuichi and Kokichi were walking to Kokichi's favorite cafe for some hot chocolate to warm their bodies. They were previously at an ice skating rink, savoring the cold weather by attending some typical winter activities.

On top of that, it was one of their few dates they had been on after officially becoming a couple. They were both new to romance but felt comfortable in each others presence none the less.

Kokichi raised his hand to pull open the cafe door, his other hand was encapsulated in the warmth radiating from Shuichi's hand, causing the two of them to blush the whole walk there.

When the door swung open the boys were immediately met with the delicious smell of coffee and freshly made bread. The place was quaint and welcoming,. Kokichi lead him and Shuichi to the counter and looked up at the menu to decide what to order. An employee in an apron approached the counter and greeted the lovers.

"Hello. Have you two decided on what your going to order?" She spoke kindly.

"Hmm...I'll have a hot chocolate with wipped cream please!" Kokichi exclaimed happily.

"What are you going to get Shu-shu?" He added.

Shuichi scanned the menu items one last time before deciding. He spoke shyly, not meeting the employee's eyes,
"Um, can I get a green tea latte please?"

"Is this for here or to go?"

"To go please."
He said, hoping that him and his lover will cuddle at home while drinking their purchased drinks.

"Of course. That will be ready in a few minutes. May I have a name for the order?"

Shuichi thought for a moment. He turned his head and looked at his adorable boyfriend eyeing the pictures of delicious looking drinks, practically drooling at the sight of them. Shuichi smiled softly and turned back to the employee.

"Kokichi." He said simply.

"Alright, that will be $14.37." The taller male gave her his card, she swiped it and handed it back to him with a smile.

The couple walked over to two lone seats and waited for their drinks to be finished. They talked about the fun they had at the ice skating rink and what shows and movies they were planning to watch once they got home. Shuichi smiled lovingly at Kokichi, internally questioning himself how he got lucky enough to have such an adorable and amazing boy as a boyfriend.

Kokichi was rambling about some pranks he and his group, DICE, had done in the past. He snapped out of his rapid explaining at the sound of his name being shouted throughout the cafe, and was even more confused that it wasn't his boyfriend who had called his name. 

Shuichi chuckled at his questioning face and stood up from the seat. He took his lover's hand and guided them to the counter where they collect their drinks. When Kokichi has handed his hot chocolate, the realization dawned on his that his boyfriend entered his name in as the order name. He blushed at the discovery and sipped his drink.

Shuichi took his hand again and intertwined their fingers while walking to their shared home. They enjoyed the comfortable and peaceful silence. Kokichi layed his head on the detective's shoulder and blushed.

About ten more minutes went by, and the two arrived at their beloved house. Once the door was opened the purple haired leader ran in and jumped onto the couch, rapping himself in the fluffy blanket that draped over the arm of the couch.

Shuichi chuckled at his cute boyfriend and closed the door behind him after walking inside. He hung his winter coat on the rank next to the door and plopped next to the leader on the couch. He placed his now empty drink on the coffee table and turned on the TV, selecting a movie on the screen.

Shuichi turned to his boyfriend and wrapped the blanket around the both of them. Kokichi cuddled into Shuichi and sighed at the warmth. Kokichi was quickly engulfed in the feeling of sweet bliss. He turned his head to Shuichi's, who's attention was on the TV screen. Kokichi leaned upwards and placed a tender kiss and Shuichi's lips. The blue haired boy's head faced his boyfriend's and he reciprocated the kiss. 

Both boys closed their eyes and shifted their bodies that were seated on the couch, to face directly in front of each other. They intertwined their fingers on both hands and blushed deeply. Shuichi tilted his head to deepen their already passionate kiss and Kokichi pressed harder. He gently grabbed the back of his lover's neck and leaned backwards, pulling his detective with, and on top of them, as Kokichi's back was now fully on the couch.

They pull apart for air for a small moment before kissing again. They continued this pattern until they were now passionately making out on a cold winter's night. Their bodies pressed onto each other kept them warm, along with the yummy blush on both of their faces. The boys tasted the other's drink on their lips and tongues as their tongues lightly touched each other in their tender make out.

Shuichi raised his hand to stroke Kokichi's dark violet hair, and his other was still intertwined his boyfriend's hand. Kokichi lifted his hand that wasn't holding his beloved's and placed it onto his beloved's cheek, lightly stroking it with his finger swaying left and right. 

They shared one last blissful and passionate kiss before pulling away and smiling tenderly at one another. Kokichi snugged up against Shuichi and closed his eyes. Shuichi smiled pulled up the blanket to cover the two. He turned the TV off, and closed his eyes at the already dimmed lights. He pulled Kokichi closer until their bodies were completely touching. He wrapped one leg around his lover, creating a cocoon of cuddles. 

Shuichi kissed Kokichi's cheek and ushered one last sentence before drifting off to a peaceful sleep. 

"Goodnight my love."
