Salem herself paled but managed to shrug it off.

Wiz: Immortality, said to be a gift, a blessing in which is grants eternal life. Those who are bestowed immortality are bound to live forever, never dying of age.

Salem and Ozpin nodded in understanding.

Boomstick: But sometimes, it doesn't work out as a great deal for some people, like Salem, RWBY's big bad Queen of the Grimm.

Wiz: And Gunrunna da Sharpshoota, the undisputed Prophet of Armageddon from Warhammer 40,000.

The adults who received nicknames felt rather intimidated by the sobriquet Gunrunna has.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win... a DEATH BATTLE!

Wiz: Thousands of years ago in Remnant, before the time when guns were mixed with weapons were used against the Grimm, there came a time when magic and prosperity ruled the land.

Boomstick: Or if you call it, kingdoms! Kings and queens rule their fair share of lands Civillization style, people get along with who's who and then there's that time when people prayed to the biggest douchebags in the RWBY universe: the Brother Gods.

Wiz: Enter Salem, a princess of a long lost kingdom who was granted the gift of magic as stated by the God of Light.

Boomstick: With one little thing, Sally was just messing around with the magic she was given and this green Young Dumbledore has been messing around with the biggest chain of fuckups that set Remnant for what it is today.

Salem felt insulted for Boomstick nicknaming her but felt nostalgic on what they described. How did they know her past, she figured that the hosts must be gods.

Wiz: Ozma's continous failures included giving the Maidens their powers, tampering with forbidden magics in hopes of securing peace, and what have you, resulted in the biggest turning point of both his and Salem's lives.

Boomstick: Remember the douchebag gods I told you about? Well, they were pissed as hell that Sally had the balls to go up against them and ooooh, they gave her the curse to immortality! Saying that she's not gonna die by old age or by any, basically making her unkillable!

Wiz: In a twisted game that would go on for thousands of years, the Brother Gods decreed that there will be an battle of good and evil.

Everyone but the immortals and those who know about Salem's history crooked their brows to see what happens next.
