chapter 24: Motherly advice

A/n-- I know I'm not dead yet guys. I was going through a lot of shit and not going to get too much into that.  The important part is I'm back and ready to complete this saga. I hope everyone is staying safe with this Corona virus going around. I had the virus for two weeks and had to quarantine myself completely. If anyone Is feeling sick boil orange peels, lemon peels, and add cayenne pepper. Then inhale it for 15 to 20 minutes s tip to help kill the virus and get rid of mucus. So social distancing is key also. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Also us geeks suffered a huge loss with miss Naya Rivera.  Her family and friends are in my prayers.  May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

    Dinner the other night with Blaine's parents was amazing.  I can't believe I was actually nervous to be around them. The dinner was really showing me how much I would love to permanently be apart of that family.

      Today was a work from home day for me. The rain was banging against the window demanding to be heard. I took a short break to make me another cup of coffee. Thanks to my Keurig machine I could enjoy my dark roast within 20 seconds. I leaned against my counter enjoying my cup when my phone started ringing.  I sprinted over to my desk and instantly smiled when I seen the name of the face time call.

"Hey dad!"

"Hey kid. It's been awhile since we last spoke." Burt said .

"I know its my fault I've been so busy working and trying to function in my relationship. I wont let it happen again.  How are you and carole?" I got comfortable on the couch .

"Its okay. Carole and I are still happy and healthy she misses you."

"I miss her too. We I come to visit you guys I'm totally taking her on a shopping spree. "

"Oh she will love that. How's being newly engaged been so far? Cody still treating you right?"

    So its obvious I've been keeping my father in the dark about Blaine and I getting back together.  When I had told my dad that Blaine had cheated on me he instantly hated him. He even offered to get the shotgun on him. So to say that he would be happy to know we're now back together would be the biggest lie.

"So dad I have to tell you something. "

Burts face went sour. "Did that boy hurt you?"

"No da-"

"I swear to god if he hurt I'm taking a flight to New York and kicking his ass!"

"No dad. We broke up two months ago."

"I don't understand. You got engaged around that time. What went wrong you seemed happy. Did that man cheat on you?"

"To be fair he didn't cheat...I let him have a open relationship on his part. So technically its cheating but I knew."

"What the hell kurt! Who does he think he is asking you for an open relationship. So my son isn't good enough for you! I'm going to kic-"

"Dad no! Please . It was my idea of having an open relationship so he wouldn't get bored with me. "

"Bored with you? Alright kid tell me what the hell is going on"

I took a deep breath that I desperately needed before continuing.  "So about 7 months ago Blaine had entered my life again an-"

"That cheating son of a bitch had been in contact with you again and your just now telling me this?"

"Dad I'm sorry.  Just let me finish okay."
